Janice is heading south in the stolen German vehicle.
Melinda "Janice are we almost there?"
Janice "No Pappa Smurf, er, I mean Mel we aren't."
Melinda shaking her head, Melinda looks over at Trent "How ya doin over there? I think we're almost to the town."
Janice swerves dodging a giant pothole in the road and backs up the truck to get a better look at it.
Trent "Oh I'll live, I won't be comfortable but I'll live."
Melinda almost falls outta her seat "My lord, what was that?"
Janice opens the door and hops out "Looks like a shell crater."
Helena coughs
Narrator You hear another thump. This time it comes from the roof of the truck
Melinda peaks out from the back of the truck to see if she can see Janice. "A what?"
Janice looks up, and draws her Gun, "Everyone stay put I'll handle this"
Melinda looks up "What on heavens sake is goin on?"
Narrator You see man fumbling in some fabric
Melinda gets back into the truck
Wanda is scared and hides in the truck
Janice trains her gun on him <"Name, rank and serial number?"> in German. <"Hey I’m talking to you!">
Charles scrambles out of the parachute "What’s that you say , cant understand a word of it."
Melinda tries to see what's goin on outside the truck.
Wanda grabs Mel’s arm "Are you crazy, stay inside"
Trent "If you need my help, just hollar. I won't come but at least you were kind enough to ask me."
Melinda hears a voice of a man but doesn't see him
Janice "Oh so your on our side."Janice hops up on the bonnet of the truck,
Melinda "Wanda dear I'm not crazy enough to actually go out there. I hope Janice doesn't do anything crazy and get herself hurt."
Charles Whichever side might that be walking towards her and falls off the truck
Wanda "me too"
Janice "And you are, incredibly lost."
Melinda yells from the back of the truck "Janice who is that?"
Wanda looks at Mel "where ze hell did zat man come from?"
Melinda shrugs to Wanda "Good question. And what was he doin on the roof of the truck?"
Janice watches the bumbling newcomer and hops off the truck and holsters her gun, sticking a hand out she mutters, "Great another looney"
Charles gets up off the ground dust him self off and continues towards Janice
Janice reaches to help him up
Melinda "Janice?"
Wanda is now not as scared and thinks to herself "ahh fresh meat"
Janice "Its okay Mel, its just a fly boy, he's lost his squad I think"
Charles takes her hand and places a kiss on it "Ah so charmed to met you"
Janice sneers "You got a name soldier?"
Melinda raises an eyebrow "A fly boy?" and make her way out the back of the truck to them.
Charles "Charles Igglesworth"
Wanda thinks as she looks the man up and down "well glad he droped by"
Janice "Hey there Chuck, I'm Janice and that's Mel, and over there is Wanda, oh and that’s Trent, and Helena, and Steel... Where’s smithers?"
Charles does a salute almost poking himself in the eye "So sorry to intrude like this"
Melinda "Smithers? Not sure."
Janice helps him gather the chute and starts piling it on Helena, "Hold that kid!"
Melinda is lookin at the roof of the truck now "What were ya doin on top of our truck?"
Charles "May I ask where we are?"
Helena falls backwards "Ummph!"
Melinda hides a giggle
Steel is speechless
Melinda extends her hand out to Charles. "Melinda Pappas, Mel for short. Nice ta meet ya."
Janice "Well Chuck, looks like you lost your way and drifted south, the real fighting is up north"
Wanda "Janice weren't we in ze hurry? What about ze Germans?"
Charles takes her hand kisses it "Charmed" thinks and looks around, "Germans? , were?"
Janice looks back at Wanda, "I'm getting there, okay everyone IN the truck!"(touch of that horse scream Renee does)
Charles looks off down the road
Melinda smiles "What a gentleman."
Janice "Germans are everywhere we are trying to get past them, we will figure out what to do with you later."
Wanda walks over and around Charles and runs her hand aross his back "ze names Wanda, ze calle me le fishy"
Melinda "Well now we can't just leave poor old Charles here for the gemans to get a hold of."
Janice swats Charles behind, "Get in the truck." shoos Mel back into the truck "Everyone"
Melinda locks arms with Charles and leads him to the back of the truck.
Wanda looks him up and down "oh no can't have zat"
Charles jumps at Wanda "Oh er , how nice to meet you"
Janice rolls her eyes, "Women"
Wanda smiles and heads back to the truck
Melinda tries to get back into the truck without gettin her heel stuck in the bumper again. "I heard that Janice."
Charles follows them into the truck
Trent "So does this mean we are gonna pick up every straggler here to Salonkia? Great, let me change my schedule then."
Charles grins at Trent
Melinda "Oh Trent now stop that. We couldn't just leave Charles there now could we?"
Janice looks back to make sure everyone is in and chuckles watching Helena wrestle with the silk.
Charles looks up "You should really fix those dents"
Melinda "Janice, we're all ready to go back here."
Trent smiles at Mel mimicking her, "Oh no of course not, leave a soldier to fight a war... My god what was I thinking!"
Melinda to Charles "No not really. It's not really our truck anyway." and holds back a giggle.
Janice lurches the big German truck forward "I hope the allies don’t shoot us now."
Narrator "They travel the bumpy road until they near the town and come to a stop just outside the city limits. The hospital is just a block away."
Charles blinks
Melinda is ignoring Trent
Janice stops the truck, "Alright everyone out!"
Melinda looking over at Charles "Janice sort of borrowed it, shall we say."
Charles "That was quick."
Janice agrees with Charles, "Yeah too quick."
Wanda "She drives fast, no?"
Melinda "She drives like that all the time. Well at least from what I've seen."
Charles "Wonder if the chaps back in the isles are missing me."
Janice looks at the Director, "What no tidal-waves, no volcanoes erupting, no insects? no filler of any kind?"
Melinda grabs her stuff and gets ready to get out of the truck
Charles "Who's she talking to?" asking Melinda
Melinda "She does that too. Don't ask."
Charles blinks again
Melinda tries to get outta the truck but bumps her head on the roof of it. "Ow."
Janice "Okay... we will take Trent to the Hospital, Then Mel you take Charles and Wanda on to the Hotel. I have to meet someone."
Melinda "Ok Janice I'll get the them all settled into the hotel."
Charles "Well I say"

Janice turns away from the camera and tries not to giggle, "Come on Trent"
Wanda "oooo la la a hotel."
Melinda looking at everyone "Shall we?" and turns to head to the hotel.
Charles just grins
Melinda turns around to make sure everyone is following her into the hotel.
Narrator "Janice leads the poor Trent towards the hospital."
Charles follows Melinda
Melinda walks up the desk clerk.
Wanda follows Mel
Janice leads Helena, Steel and Trent
Melinda "Wanda you can stay in my suit if ya'd like. Smithers and Charles, who two wouldn't mind sharin a room would ya?"
Narrator "Janice drops Trent off and continues heading to meet this someone. Janice split off with all the characters that aren’t playing to night to get rid of them - plot expedition, it has to go somewhere. Leaves a note on a door in a average part of town near the market."
Wanda just looks at the new guy and smiles
Melinda is waiting for the clerk
Charles smiles back at Wanda, a bit nervously
Clerk comes out but doesn’t look up "what do you need?"
Melinda "I have my hotel key already." Melinda to the hotel clerk "Could we get a room here for Mr...."turning around to look at Charles, "Sorry was your last name again?"
Charles "Igglesworth."
Melinda smiles and turns back to the clerk "Mr. Igglesworth."
Clerk "let me see if, ah yes, we have one left."
Charles grins at the Clerk
Melinda "Thank ya kindly."
Clerk "You got money?"
Melinda to the clerk "Oh Big Rod has checked outta the hotel also."
Clerk "We have only the one cuz that Big Rod guy checked out, he left food everywhere. What a slob."
Melinda to Charles "She needs ya to pay for the room. Hope ya got some money on you."
Charles "Oh?"
Melinda is starting to wonder where Janice went off to.
Charles checks his wallet "You take pounds?"
Clerk "I can put it on their account" and hands Charles a key and she gives him a toothless smile "You got plans for the night?"
Charles "Um , ur well , um " stutters
Clerk smiles and bats her one good eye
Melinda "So Charles. What are ya gonna do?"
Charles "Well , I'll just take the room .... just the room"
Janice is walking down the street back to the hotel, the person she wanted to meet wasn’t there.
Clerk "fine what ever" and storms into the back office
Melinda "Ok then that sounds fine."
Narrator "Janice see someone familiar"
Charles "I think I upset the poor las"
Melinda looks at the clerk storming off.
Wanda "do you really care about ze girl?"
Melinda shrugs
Janice walks over to a guy in the market selling food "So they let you out of jail? Poisoning the Ambassador I thought was punishable by death. Janice waves to the person she knows and turns around smacking right into Smithers.
Smithers falls into the market stall with Janice
Janice lands hard on the ground and pulls out her gun ignoring her hat rolling off. "Oh Its you again. I should have known." Janice attempts to get up and falls back into the merchandise
Smithers stands up and dust himself off "Isn't that a bit extreme for you average pick pocket mamdam."
Janice giggles through a sneer, "Oh a wise guy?" Janice looks around noticing no one paid attention to that comment and holsters her gun. "So how'd you get back to town?"
Smithers smiles and doffs his bowler "Excuse my tardiness but I had trouble parking the car where the locals would not try and steel it"
Janice fumbles getting up and retrieves her hat. "So it's in Istanbual now?" jokes "Well you are here now, come on everyone is waiting."
Smithers "Actually madam I found somewhere nearer the hotel"
Janice heads towards the hotel again, "This is gonna be one long hot bastard of a day." she mumbles
Smithers looks Janice up and down "And here was me thinking you had come out to actually buy a skirt."
Wanda begins to wonder what happened to Janice
Melinda watches the clerk disappear behind through the door
Smithers follows Janice looking only slightly embarrassed
Melinda "Well now shall we all head to our rooms? I'm gettin tired and need to change outta this suit." Melinda is still standin in front of the hotel desk "I need to make sure my hand is ok also. Now where is Janice?"
Wanda "I’m getting hungry"
Janice walks along with Smithers following thinking, "Slugger" and giggles to herself seeing the hotel only a few yards away now
Wanda looks at the other two "You want ze food while we wait?"
Melinda "Ya wanna get somethin to eat first Wanda?" Melinda giggles
Wanda "Just what I was thinkin."
Trent looks at the nurse, "Well heeeeeellllllo there. I think I’m gonna like being laid up."
Charles "All right then"
Narrator "The three go to the hotel restaurant."
Janice turns back to see if Smithers is still following, "You can walk with me I don't bite that hard."
Narrator "They sit down and wait for a waiter, who is no where to be found."
Smithers "It is a gentleman’s place to follow the master."
Melinda takes her napkin and places it on her lap.
Janice rolls her eyes, "Smithers, what’s gotten into you today? You don't work for that goon anymore you don't have to act like this."
Wanda sits down next to Mel
Charles sits across and grins at the two
Wanda "where ze heck has Janice gotten to?"
Melinda looks at Charles "So Charles tell me about yourself. What were ya doin before ya landed on our roof?"
Wanda winks at Charles
Smithers looks at Janice sternly "Madam, it is my place to serve, After all, I'm just the Driver."
Melinda "Not sure Wanda, but I hope she's not gettin herself in trouble."
Janice walks into the hotel, worse for wear and needing a shower and a rest, until her stomach growls. Janice walks up to the clerks and rings the bell, <"Are there any messages for Covington?"> in Greek.
Charles "Ah there’s a story, it was a dog fight, I had em in my sights, then ......."
Smithers politely waits
Melinda giggles "Then ya ended up landin on our roof."
Clerk <"yeah some busty number left one for you.">
Charles "Right after spilling my tea on the controls."
Janice giggles <"May I have it?">
Clerk <"she and her little friends will meet you in there"> She points to the restaurant
Charles "Talking of tea, where’s that waiter"
Janice nods Smithers on, "Lets get some grub"
Melinda looks around "That's a good question."
Smithers eyes the hotel and contemplates doing better "Whatever you say sir"
Janice stops, "I'm not sir, you got that? I’m a Doctor." Shakes her head, "Huge difference" and walks into the restaurant.
Wanda is still looking around for the waiter and spots Janice
Melinda nonchalantly adjusts the money that is still down her bra.
Wanda stands up and waves her over
Smithers inclines his head "Please excuse my faux pas, DOCtor"
Wanda sees that out of the corner of her eye and grins
Janice "I can see those two from here, follow me Smith."
Wanda sees them coming and sits back down
Janice wasn't talking about the girls either
Melinda spots Janice
Smithers follows and pulls the Doctors chair out for her
Wanda "ah there she is. but who is that with her?"
Janice grabs another chair and spins it next to Mel and Charles, putting a wedge between them
Melinda to Smithers "My what a gentleman."
Wanda smiles at the stranger "hello."
Janice "Sorry Smith thought that was yours"
Melinda "So where have ya been? And how's Trent doin?"
Charles "Hello , hello."
Smithers inclines his head at Mel, "Ms Pappas, your radiance is a pleasure as always."
Melinda blushes, muttering to herself "Oh my."
Janice "Hey all, Trent’s fine. Look who I bumped into here."
Smithers finds some dust on himself to brush off
Melinda smiling "Yes Smithers."
Janice nudges Melinda, "There she goes again, gonna give him a complex I tell you." Says to herself.
Melinda whispers "Janice stop it."
Janice "So what have you ordered?"
Charles looks around for the waiter
Melinda "Smithers, won't ya have a seat with us?"
Wanda looks at Smithers and says "I don't believe we have met, no?"
Melinda "Well the waiter hasn't shown up yet, unfortunately."
Smithers "It would be more fitting Madam, If ate with the rest of the servents later." waits to be introduced
Janice shakes her head, "Smithers cut the horse hockey, and sit down with us. I know about you Smithy."
Melinda "Smithers now you stop that and sit down here with us. We won't have any of that." waits for Smithers to join them
Wanda lifts an eyebrow and wonders "I wonder just what she knows about him."
Smithers reluctantly pulls up a chair, sitting bolt upright "Mam, Sir, I am Mr. Smithers, this lady and the Doctor’s driver."
Melinda holds her hand up to her bosoms. "Oh now, where are my manners. Smithers this is Mr. Charles Igglesworth."
Wanda "ze pleasure."
Charles "Nice to meet you old chap"
Janice spots a waiter way off in the distance and stands up shouting in Greek, <"Hey Sparky we need some menu's over here, pronto!">
Smithers takes Wanda’s hand and kisses it lightly
Narrator "The waiter hears Janice and hurries off to get the menus"
Smithers extends a hand to Charles "You look to be a fellow Englishman from your garb."
Charles shakes Smithers hand "Indeed I am old boy, nice to finally meet some one from the isles out here."
Waiter comes over carrying menus and a pitcher of water
Smithers removes his bowler
Waiter begins hands the people their menus, Janice takes the menu handed to her and glances it over, rattling off a quick meal for herself. "Mel what would you like?"
Melinda takes a menu and starts to look it over "Now Janice I don't know. Any suggestions? What do they have here ta eat? I'm starvin."
Smithers continues talking to Charles "From your garb I would say that you are part of the Air Arm?"
Waiter begins to fill glasses with water
Smithers catches the waiters attention "Could I have some Tea?"
Melinda looks up "Yes tea sounds good for me also please."
Charles "Why yes."
Waiter "Sure. What do the rest of you want to drink?"
Charles "yes make that three tea's"
Janice "Why yes Mel why don’t you have what you had the other day, or even that morning. Or better yet what about that dish you had from here ordered to the room?"
Wanda "Same."
Janice "Scotch, on the rocks" being a smart-ass again
Melinda "Janice I can't remember what I had."
Waiter writes the order down "I will be back with the drinks"
Janice shakes her head at Mel, "You sure you are gonna be okay for this line of work?"
Waiter walks over and whispers to Wanda "I will have the money I owe you for the other night later. You were great by the way. I just now am able to walk straight."
Smithers reaches into his pocket and removes a silver cigarette case which he offers to all around the table, not actually taking one himself
Wanda "Don’t forget ze tip."
Smithers blushes
Janice is contemplating dumping Wanda, she's bad for the reputation of the crew.
Melinda heard that but is not gonna ask what Wanda was talking about.
Janice takes one of the cigarettes "Ah civilization."
Smithers makes a mental note to ask Wanda about that later!
Charles refuses the cigarette
Wanda shakes her head no
Janice is trying to forget that Wanda
Melinda looks over at Smithers "Oh lordy another smoker."
Wanda looks around the table
Smithers does not have a cigarette
Waiter brings the drinks back "You ready or what?"
Janice lights the cigarette and leans back happy to be alive
Melinda sniffs the air and looks up at Janice
Smithers waits for the ladies and the Doctor to order
Janice ordered
Narrator "It is the end of the day..."
Melinda doesn't know what to order "Ya might just have to come back to me later."
Janice orders for Mel, "You had that last time and liked it."
Charles looks at the menu
Waiter begins to write down orders
Melinda sighs "Fine Janice." looks around at everyone at the table.
Charles points to some thing on the menu and shows the Waiter
Smithers looks at the waiter "Do you have anything without shell fish or olives in it?"
Wanda smiles at Charles
Melinda "So Smithers where have ya been?"
Charles smiles back nervously at Wanda
Smithers "I had to secure our vehicle from the natives madam"
Melinda takes the glass of water sitting in front of her and sips it, giggles "Why? Where they tryin ta steal it?"
Charles sips his tea
Melinda to Smithers "And please call me Mel. Ya don't have to be so formal."
Smithers "Well you know what these Deigos are like madam, if its not nailed down they will have it right away, ask the Doctor."
Wanda looks at Smithers "but you can call me what ever you want"
Janice chuckles
Melinda seems taken aback "Really?"
Janice "Mel did you forget the tablet?"
Smithers "If it makes you happy Madem er, Mel."
Wanda smiles
Smithers "Oh Yes, its to do with their diet you see, they are practically savages"
Janice finishes her Cigarette drinks her scotch "hhhhaaarrrr" and coughs, "That’s good stuff" completely horse.
Melinda reaches under the table and seems to be looking for something.
Janice jumps back, "Mel?
Melinda is still looking for something
Janice eyes are wide, "What are you doing?" whispering to her
Smithers puts one lump of sugar in his tea, sips it, grimaces and then adds another two lumps
Janice glances down to make sure that wasn't Mel’s foot.
Melinda "Lookin for that bag."
Janice pulls up her bag, "This one?"
Melinda looks embrassed. "Yeah that one."
Narrator "The group finishes their meal after they FINALLY get it and head to their rooms to retire for the evening."
Smithers kisses all the ladies goodnight on there hands, except for the Doctor.
Melinda "Nite Smithers."
Janice unlocks the door and slings everything on the desk and collapses on the bed face first, "Shower can wait" and falls asleep fully clothed boots and all.
Melinda looks at Janice "Well now she's taken up the whole bed."
Wanda winks good night to Smithers and heads into the room for some sleep.
Charles bows
Melinda pokes her head out the door looking to say goodnite to Charles
Smithers watches Wanda walk off
Melinda "Nite Charles." Melinda goes back into the room
Charles goes and unlocks the door
Wanda falls asleep happy
Charles "Good night Ladies"
Melinda nudges Janice’s leg "Janice?"
Wanda mumbles "goodnight" to everyone
Melinda nudges her again "Janice."
Melinda sighs
Janice "Zzzzzzzz"
Charles falls asleep and all
Smithers goes to bed and has nightmares about being upstaged by an over muscled man that is named Lemon Sorbet.
Charles snores loudly
Melinda looks down at Janice trying to figure out how to move her over a bit.
Janice looks up groggly, "What’s that noise?"
Narrator "There is some banging that continues to come from next door. Wanda is sound asleep, passed out on the couch where she sat. Wanda is sound asleep
Janice sits up and nearly knocks Mel of the bed by accident.
Narrator "There is a loud crash."
Janice jumps off the bed and runs to the door, swinging it open and heading to that hall.
Melinda wakes up "What's goin on?" looks very confused
Narrator "Wanda rolls over still asleep."
Janice runs into the hall
Narrator "There is another bang."
Melinda looks over to sleep the door is wide open and Janice is missin again. Melinda jumps outta the bed and heads to the door "What on earth was that?!?"
Narrator "Charles hears some of the noise and begins to wake up. Janice sees the door has been broken into."
Charles snorts and rubs his eyes as he wakes up, yawns "What’s all the noise?"
Janice looks in
Charles goes out into the hall
Narrator "Janice sees a figure near the window."
Melinda pokes her head out the door to see what's going on.
Janice looks at the figure
Narrator "Wanda is still sleeping like a baby. Smithers begins to wake up hearing the sounds."
Charles looks over at Janice
Narrator "The Figure pulls a gun out."
Janice ducks into the hallway, tackling Mel into the room
Smithers murmurs "But I wanna have cool armbands too."
Melinda wonders what Janice is doing in Charles room.
Janice is a god today
Melinda "What the..."
Janice "Oomph."
Charles went into the hall Mel
Narrator "A bang is heard by everyone. And then some shattering glass. Wanda...believe it or not is STILL sleeping."
Smithers rolls out of bed and goes for his .45
Melinda "Hmmm Janice... You can get off of me now, I think."
Janice "Stay here and call downstairs tell them there is a burglar in Helena’s room."
Melinda "A what?"
Janice "Just do it." she whispers and grabs her whip that’s handy creeping to the door and peeks out
Melinda "Are ya sure it's just not Helena and that Steel gent."
Janice looks at Mel and does the shush sign.
Smithers heads down to the noise
Narrator "The figure runs out the door running into Charles and knocking him over"
Melinda gets on all fours and crawls to the door behind Janice
Charles gets knocked over and blinks
Janice snaps her whip back and tries to snatch the burglars legs
Narrator "He runs into Smithers and just gets outta his grasp."
Melinda tries to see what's goin on outside the door but doesn't want to get too close to it
Narrator "Janices whip hits the man but does not take him down as he keeps running"
Smithers legs it after the mysterious man
Janice "Damnit!" Janice runs after him and hurls her body at him
Charles gets up "That was abit off ."
Melinda gets up off the floor and peaks out of the door into the hallway to see what's goin on.
Narrator "The figure is bleeding from his leg from the whip."
Charles forgot to say "Well I say"
Smithers gives chase
Narrator Janice tackles the figure and tumbles to the ground on top of him
Janice scrambles to get a hold of the guy and hold him down.
Narrator The guy attempts to kick her
Melinda decides now is a good time to go see what in blazes is goin on, heads out the door
Janice thinks, "A net would be good right about now, maybe I will go buy one from Rod tomorrow"
Narrator His leg wound makes the kick to light to be felt by Janice
Smithers waits for an opening
Janice Winces, had to be that bad knee didn't it
Narrator The man spits on Janice and sees Smithers coming towards him
Janice "Charming" She slugs him "AHAH!"
Charles goes over to Melinda "What on earth is happening?"
Narrator Janice's punch finds his nose and it begins to bleed
Janice tries to tie the guy up with her whip wondering where the hell the hotel staff is
Narrator He isn't putting up much of a fight now
Janice notes the guy is a pushover
Smithers looks down "Are you Ok Doctor, or would you like some assistance?"
Janice "Grab his feet and tie it up, Mel call downstairs!"
Melinda to Charles "Well I'm not quite sure myself. Somethin about someone being in Helena's a room and now Janice an Smithers have him cornered."
Narrator Wanda FINALLY begins to stir
Melinda turns around and heads back to her room to call downstairs.
Smithers looks for something to tie the mans feet
Janice socks the guy again for good measure to knock him out
Bell Boy comes running out of the elevator <"What the....">
Melinda makes the call then heads back to the others.
Janice's punch lands square on his jaw and he is on the verge of passing out Janice hits him again, and another time for the hell of it
Narrator The man is a bloody mess now
Janice is pummeling this guys face in
Melinda "Janice I think that's good enough. You can stop hittin him now."
Narrator And has passed out
Janice "One more Mel, the bastard kicked me in the knee"
Melinda sighs and knows Janice is going to do it anyway.
Janice stands up and kicks him with her good leg
Narrator Janice broke his leg and a rib. He is in bad shape
Smithers winces for the poor unfortunate stuntman
Charles heads over to Janice "Well I say"
Wanda comes out into the hall
Narrator Janice sees Smithers tuck the gun away into his jacket
Bell Boy <"what the hell is going on?">, "What have you done to this man?" (broken english)
Melinda "Good question."
Janice "This burglar broke into that room there and tore it up"
Smithers wanders off to check the room
Janice is thankful that she fell asleep with steel toed boots on
Smithers looks at himself in the hall mirror and checks to make sure that he doesn’t have anything stuck in his teeth "God I look good!"
Smithers was about to look in the burgled room.
Charles was standing in the corridor
Wanda was just getting out of bed
Melinda coughs
Bell Boy comes back with the police and show them the body.

Melinda holds her head "I feel a headache comin on."
Narrator The room is dark
Melinda looks for a light switch.
Janice brushes Mel’s hand Melinda smiles at Janice "Thank you."
Smithers gropes for the light switch and finds Mel’s left Boob
Janice flips on the lights
Janice shaking head "the last one that did that"
Melinda turns around and smacks Smithers in the face
Janice "Ouch that gotta hurt"
Melinda is turnin red in the face every second.
Smithers falls to the floor with a thump
Jack Kleinman in the jungle somewhere, "Guys? Guys?!!!! Come on this isn’t funny anymore! GUUUUUUUYSS!"
Melinda "I swear if ya ever do such a thing a again I'll... I'll.... you'll be sorry."
Charles "Well I say." pokes Smithers with his boot
Narrator Janice finds the light switch and turns it on. they see something by the window
Smithers rubs his face "Yes, I think I will!"
Melinda adjusts herself to make sure the money is still there.
Janice carefully walks to the window
Narrator Janice sees what looks like a person laying face down
Janice goes over and turns them over
Melinda tries to compose herself and walks into the room.
Charles steps over Smithers as he enters the room
Smithers follows after well "Please except my apologies Madam, I thought you were... I was just trying to turn you on"
Narrator She recognizes the bloody forms to be Helena and Steel. Helena's tongue has been cut out and Steel is near death himself
Janice picks up Steel head, "Who did this?"
Charles "Gads"
Steel "he..."
Janice "HE who?"
Melinda didn't hear a word of what Smithers just said to her
Smithers listens and looks for clues
Steel "The one that gave it to me.."
Janice "Gave what? Steel what are you talking about?"
Steel "I... He was gonna help us get out of the...of Greece... I told him."
Janice "who Steel Who I don’t know what you are talking about."
Steel "I told him about the scrolls..."
Charles "Scrolls?"
Janice drops Steel with a thud, "My scrolls?"
Steel "Oomph."
Charles is rather confused
Melinda "You told him about the scrolls?!? Why would ya do a thing like that?"
Charles looks at Melinda "Scrolls?"
Steel "I didn't know"
Janice looks down, "Steel what’s his name I need a name?"
Smithers murmurs "Probably because he just cut your friend tongue out!"
Melinda looks over at Charles "Yes scrolls that me and Janice found."
Janice thinks to herself "Helena was never my friend"
Steel "I thought he was going to help us Mel"
Janice looks at Steel, "How could he help us if we didn’t want to leave?"
Steel "we ha...we have to get them out somehow" coughs
Janice "Them? Them what Steel?
Melinda "Well after Janice beat the tar outta him I don't think he'll be helpin anyone with anythin for a while."
Steel wheezes "the scrolls."
Janice "We have the scrolls Steel. All tucked away safely"
Charles "Scrolls?"
Melinda "Yes Charles scrolls. I'll have to explain that all to ya later on."
Narrator "Smithers looks around and sees nothing"
Steel coughs and begins to pass out
Charles "Oh thanks you Melinda"
Janice looks for that Bell Hop, "We need a Doctor in here!"
Smithers heads for the door
Melinda wonders if the police took that man to jail yet, clears her throat "Well I think I'm just gonna head back to my room now. Too much excitement for one day."
Janice shakes her head at Melinda
Melinda turns to leave and gives Smithers a look before she leaves.
Janice looks at the Bell boy "Get this man to a hospital. You’re gonna be okay Steel, Hang in there."
Charles "I say , she seems a bit peeved Smithy ,old chap"
Melinda heads out the door towards her room.
Smithers mummers to Chaz "So would you be old chap if someone had used your mammary for a light switch"
Charles "Well, I say!"
Steel wheezes and dies
Janice looks sad, "I’m sorry Steel."
Smithers checks the body
Charles thinks about that
Janice looks around the room
Narrator Smithers finds a lugar under the body that has been fired
Smithers will pocket that as well
Janice takes it from Smithers (dramatic thing here) "Germans!" she hisses and hands the gun back to him
Narrator The room has been tossed, everything is broken and blood is every place
Smithers to Janice "So it would appear Doctor"
Narrator Janice finds nothing in the room
Melinda after hearing Janice shout Germans head back to the room.
Janice face gets hard and she walks back to the guy she beat up and searches him ignoring the bell hop
Melinda is still heading for her room
Smithers goes to comfort Wanda
Charles heads out the room also
Narrator Janice finds a note in the pocket of the burglar in Steels handwritings. It is an address.
Janice reads it and then slips it in her pocket
Janice turns and rushes into her room and checks for the rucksack she threw on the desk
Melinda watches as Janice runs into the room "What's wrongs now?"
Janice "Scrolls..." she mumbles
Melinda "Sorry, scrolls? What about them?"
Janice pulls out the bag and dumps it on the desk
Charles wonders if any one else is in the hall
Janice "Mel there is something in here the Germans want, and I need you to find out what that is"
Melinda get up to see what Janice is looking for "There should be there."
Janice walks back out into the hall and notices that Charles just disappeared in a puff of smoke
Wanda is very confused after being woken up like that
Smithers will walk her back to her room and tuck her in
Janice looks for Charles in the rooms.
Wanda yawns and looks at Mel "Zis we cannot take care of tonight"
Janice turns to Smithers, "I think we should take shifts and keep an eye out, I have a feeling whoever did this will be back."
Wanda smiles at Smithers and enters the room
Smithers looks after Wanda and says to Janice "I agree, your on first watch!" Smithers follows Wanda
Melinda is still standing at the table wondering what in the world is going on
Police officer Walks up to Janice and speaks in Greek <"We aren't going to get anything out of him now" pointing to the burglar "I will be in touch, the ambulance should be here soon">
Janice glances at Mel, "Actually Mel will be I want her to do some skimming for me."
Melinda raises an eyebrow as she watches Smithers "I swear that man just can't keep his hands to himself."
Janice turns to Charles "We should take shifts, Mel will be first, you second and I will take the last one I am worried whoever did this will return"
Charles nods
Narrator They all begin to head to their rooms, not with out thinking about what just happened.
Melinda "Janice, I'll be first?"
Janice says goodnight to the boys, and closes their door, "Mel I just want you to read through some of these and see if there is any reason why the Germans want them
Charles goes back to his room
Narrator The whole group
Melinda looks at the scrolls "I can do. But what exactly am I lookin for?"
Narrator The group are all tucked away in their rooms and get ready for a very restless nights sleep.
Janice shrugs totally worn out and a bit bruised "I have no idea Mel, But I don’t feel very well right now" She sites on the bed
Melinda "Are you ok Janice?"
Charles goes back to sleep
Janice looks a bit pale
Wanda falls asleep
Melinda walks over to Janice "Janice? Are you ok?" Melinda looks down at her
Janice undresses and lays back, "I think I just need to rest Mel. Its been a hellava day"
Melinda nods "Alright then you do that." Then turns around to get started on the scrolls. "This might take all night for me to do."
Charles *snore*

Melinda grabs a glass of water and walks over to Janice who is sleeping.
Melinda "Janice... oh Janice..."
Janice is asleep in Melinda's hotel room of the Lido
Glass "Mine Frualine don’t do this"
Melinda looks around the room and at the scrolls "Well now where ta start?" Melinda sits down at the desk
Janice snuggles all cute
Melinda sighs to herself "This is gonna take me all night. What in the world am I lookin for anyway?"
Melinda looks over to Janice and thinks "Wish I was sleepin." Melinda goes back to her scrolls.
Wanda is sleepin
Melinda looks up "Hmmmm Why would the nazis need this things?"
Charles snores
Melinda unrolls one of them and starts tryin to translate it
Narrator the whole gang other than Mel is asleep. Mel is reading the scrolls and comparing the note Janice found to them.
Janice pulls the pillow close and giggles something
Melinda looks at the note thinks, "Wonder what she's gigglin bout?"
Narrator She notices some writing on the scrap that Janice found on the body. It has a name on the back along with the address. the name is "something ma"
Janice makes a motorcycle noise and giggles
Narrator The scrap has an address outside of town and the word 'book' in ancient Greek
Melinda turns around havin a confused look on her face. "Motorcycle noises?"
Wanda mumbles in her sleep something about Melinda biting
Janice is sound asleep again
Melinda looks back down at the note. "What's this?" Melinda gets up for her seat, with the note in hand and walks over to Janice. Melinda wonders if she should wake up Janice "Won't want her puttin me in the shower or anythin." Melinda whispers "Janice?"
Janice stirs and smiles
Melinda "Janice, I think I found somethin."
Janice snuggles the pillow, "hummmm"
Melinda taps Janice on the shoulder. "Janice wake up."
Wanda mumbles again in her sleep "mount Trent..."
Janice moves and stirs again
Melinda raises and eyebrow at Wanda and shakes the thoughts outta her head.
Melinda "Janice."
Janice "five more minutes daddy"
Melinda "Daddy?"
Janice snuggles the pillow again
Melinda "Janice I think I found somethin, wake up." Melinda tugs at the pillow a little.
Janice "put it in my boot and remember to lock the door" still asleep
Melinda sighs to herself. "What on heavens sakes is she talkin bout?" Melinda shakes Janice shoulder hopin that'll work to wake her up
Janice opens an eye and looks around "Mel?"
Melinda "Janice. My lordly she sleeps like a rock."
Janice hasn’t slept in weeks
Melinda "Janice I think I found somethin on this note." Melinda sits down on the edge of the bed.
Janice sits up and rubs eyes, "what note?"
Melinda hands her the note "This note you gave me before ya went to sleep."
Wanda stirs a bit and smiles
Charles still snores
Janice looks at note, "what did you find?"
Wanda begins to wake up hearing the voices
Melinda points that the address "Look here. It's some sorta address and," points down "a some sorta book."
Wanda thinks to herself "I hate when you are having a great dream and then you wake up"
Janice nods, "And you woke me up for a sorta? Mel get some sleep."
Melinda "I don't know what it is."
Janice collapses back to the bed and tries to get comfortable
Melinda sighs "Janice you didn't tell me not to wake you up. You just told me to try and find somethin. Well... I think this is a somethin."
Wanda "what are you talking about...iz late no?"
Janice "good then it can wait till the morning."
Melinda looks at Wanda "Yes it's late." Melinda sighs and gets up from the bed.
Janice stretches out
Wanda grins and thinks about her group "well as long as I'm up can I go wake up Charles"
Melinda looks back at the two sleepin comfy. "Well..." and reaches over for a pillow "I'll be takin one of those." Melinda tries to pull one of the pillows from under Janice's and Wanda's head.

Janice rolls over to give Mel enough room to lay down
Melinda finally pulls one out from under their heads and head to the sofa to lay down
Janice Wanda was onthe sofa
Wanda "mumbles before falling back asleep "Guess zhat a no on the get ze Charles then..."
Janice is in the bed and all cute too
Melinda sighs again cause she's tired and climbs into bed now with someone and she's going to hug them like a pillow, she doesn't care. "Zzzzzzz"
Janice wakes up from the snoring
Charles snores some more
Janice "well she’s cute but loud" puts a pillow over Melinda and sleeps again
Wanda has fallen back asleep
Janice throws obligatory arm around Melinda (see the Furies, season 3 Renee O Connor)
Narrator the whole gang awakens. It is late morning. Janice wipes her eyes in the morning.
Janice wakes up humming ‘you only tell my you love me when you're drunk’ and looks at her arm flung over Melinda
Melinda starts to stir and turns over
Charles snorts awake
Narrator Sal wakes up and remembers his appointment
Melinda eyes fly open at the feel of an arm around her "Who..."
Janice "Oh morning Mel." removes arm quickly
Sal gathers his belongings and heads to the hotel
Janice looks at the time
Wanda stirs a bit and rubs her eyes
Melinda "Hmmm, mornin Janice." Melinda reaches over with her hand lookin for her glasses.
Janice "come on I have an appointment"
Wanda sighs "what time did we have to meet ze Sal?"
Melinda "Ya do? With who?"
Janice gets out of bed and darts into the bathroom
Melinda sits up on bed
Wanda shrugs
Janice "Sal" she calls out, "Rod's friend"
Charles wonders what the time is
Wanda looks for the rest of her cloths
Melinda looks confused "Sal?"
Wanda "I should go wake zhe others then, no?"
Janice "I need to replace the stuff we lost and to find out more about the nazi's occupation here in Greece."
Melinda gets outta bed and goes over to the mirror. "I hate sleepin with my makeup on." and sighs.
Charles goes back to sleep
Melinda "What about that address I found last night in that note?"
Janice sticks her arm out of the bathroom and hands Mel some cold cream
Wanda puts her cloths on "huh?"
Janice "What note?"
Melinda "Thank ya."
Melinda walks over to the nightstand and picks up the note. "This note."
Wanda walks to the door "I'll go get ze others"
Janice "Okay Wanda"
Melinda looks at Janice "Are ya done with the bathroom? I gotta go."
Wanda leaves and heads to Charles' room
Janice comes out dress, amazing what a commercial will do
Wanda bangs on Charles' door, "Oh Charles..."
Melinda "My turn and I'll try ta be as fast as I can." heads into the little girls room.
Charles "Humph."
Janice holds the bottom half of the door open
Wanda "We have za appointment soon. Wake up."
Charles falls out of bed with loud thump
Melinda hurries in the bathroom and is ready to go. "Where's my purse?"
Janice hands Melinda her purse "I think this one matches"
Wanda "Oui ok in here Charles?"
Charles gets up and opens the door, looking like you do when you just woke up
Melinda looks down at herself noddin "Yeah it does. Where did Wanda go?"
Janice "To the nearest dominate man" giggling.
Wanda grins "You are cute in ze morning. But you might want to put some pants on."
Melinda shaking her head but is laughing.
Janice puts her hat on, grabs her jacket and scroll pack... stuffing the odds and ends in her jacket she opens the door.
Charles looks down then suddenly turns to rush back in the room and bangs into the door which closed behind him
Melinda looks in the mirror on last time to make sure her hat is on straight.
Wanda turns and bangs on the other doors
Janice closes the door behind Mel and sees Wanda in the hallway "Wanda go put on some clothes"
Wanda looks back and giggles
Charles fumbles with the door handle
Melinda "Oh my"
Melinda looks the other way
Wanda "Oh Janice come see zis."
Janice "What?" walks up
Wanda points at Charles
Janice "I’m in a hurry."
Melinda turns to see what is going on
Janice "Its a door Wanda"
Melinda "Hmmm Janice did ya grab that note?"
Charles covers himself
Janice looks at the elevator and nods to the lift boy to wait
Charles falls into his room and gets some clothes
Janice shakes her head No to Mel
Wanda "Oh you should have seen his face...Janice ze other aren’t waking, should we leave them to sleep?"
Melinda sighs turning around and heading back into the room to grab the note.
Janice "Wanda go put clothes on." clears her throat" meet us downstairs Charles in the restaurant I will order you kippers!"
Wanda heads towards Janice "good morning by the way"
Janice "Morning Wanda."
Charles "Righty oh"
Janice slaps her rear, "Git and put on something decent."
Charles puts on his flight cloths
Melinda heads back to the hallway where she passes by a nekkid Wanda and Charles.
Wanda heads into the room and mumbles "Not like I was naked.."
Charles thought Wanda did get dressed
Janice "Close to it!' calling out heading into the elevator with Mel in tow
Charles comes out dressed
Wanda comes out fully dressed this time
Janice goes down with Mel
Wanda runs to catch up with the girls "Come on Charles"
Melinda is in the elevator with Janice heading downstairs.
Charles fellows blushing a bit
Janice waits for the elevator doors to open
Melinda "Janice. Where are we suppose ta meet this Sal fella?"
Wanda smiles at Charles "Why you blush? you have nothing I haven't se...oh never ze mind"
Janice is whistling "I’m in denial, no, my life’s a trial.."
Melinda thinks "Hmm I never heard that tune before."
Charles try to say some thing to Wanda , but just mouths it
Wanda giggles to herself
Janice "Yes Mel and I see him." head into the restaurant to Sal
Narrator The elevator doors open
Sal finishes a piece of toast and begins to wipe the crumbs off his shirt, Sal then chugs a large glass of fresh orange juice.
Charles sniffs and wriggles his moustache
Janice points at the spectacle in the five star hotel and looks up at Mel "Told you he knew Rod."
Melinda is waiting for Janice cause she doesn't know what Sal looks like.
Sal shovels three bites of eggs into his mouth
Wanda follows
Melinda "Well yes it looks like it. Are ya sure they're not related?"
Charles follows to
Janice "Actually I think they are" Janice walks to Sal, extending hand.. "SAL!"
Wanda mumbles "Great."
Sal stands and says spitting egg bits "Janice?"
Melinda nods in agreement thinking "Well it from the way he's eatin it looks like it."
Sal "I understand you need my services?"
Janice "Yes I do, please sit and order anything you like, my treat Sal" Janice finds a table that will fit the large group"
Wanda muffles a giggle
Sal lets out a large belch
Melinda pulls out a chair for herself to sit in
Charles looks around not really knowing what there talking about
Sal "excuse me"
Melinda looks a bit disgusted
Sal shovels more eggs into his mouth
Melinda thinks to herself "Where does she meet this men?
Sal "so what do you need"
Janice looks for the egg from the mysterious source, Sal's pockets!
Wanda looks a bit disgusted
Melinda tries not to look at Sal as he inhales his food.
Janice looks as she always does... disinterested yet aware
Charles looks around for a waiter
Janice looks around
Wanda "don’t mind me" Wanda raises a brow "I believe we have met, he was a how do you say...friend one night"
Melinda is holding out her hand to him. "Melinda Pappas pleased to meet ya."
Janice "tramp" whispered
Charles looks around in the opposite direction
Sal shakes everyone’s hands
Wanda darts a look at Janice "I heard zat"
Melinda heard that "Janice stop callin her names." Melinda takes the note outta her purse and places it in front of her.
Wanda "you do remimd me of zat Big Rod fellow"
Sal "I'm nothing like big rod!!"
Charles spends his time admiring a clock on the wall
Wanda giggles "No you aren’t in ze ways zat matter."
Sal opens the note and reads it
Janice wonders how Mel let Sal have that, Janice winks at Chuck
Melinda looks over at Sal "Sure since ya asked nicely." and snatches it outta his hands.
Janice "Okay Sal thes are my friends, Chuck here got separated from his unit I need you to find them, I well give you details later."
Melinda looks over to Janice "Now I think we should go ta this address and find out bout this book."
Wanda "what did you find out in zhere Mel" and points to the note.
Janice "and I need some supplies, don't worry I got the mullah. Janice nods to Mel "yes we will but breakfast first" Janice is still tired
Charles turns around suddenly realizing Sal "Oh hello there old chap"
Sal "Then I can get it for you big Sal has all you need"
Janice giggles "Big Sal? okay we are taking hero worshiping to an extreme here."
Waiter walks over <"anything I can get you">
Janice "Sal is my personal 'salvation army'"
Melinda "Well it says here somethin bout a book and it gives an address. I think we should look into it."
Sal "just give me a list of what you need and I get it for you"
Janice rattles off orders for chuck and Mel and herself, letting Sal the Greek order himself
Waiter makes a note and leaves the group
Janice pulls out her journal and writes a few things down and rips off the paper handing it to Sal
Wanda "So Sal have you heard of ziz place?"
Janice "Oh drat Wanda what would you like to eat?" Janice knows she will regret that wording to Wanda
Melinda shows Sal the note
Janice looks at Mel and shrugs
Sal "Hmmm I might have my mind is a bit blurry."
Wanda grins "Zhey don’t have it on ze menu."
Janice stands up and goes to find a waiter
Waiter sees Janice coming <"Is there something else?">
Sal "Why do you want to go there anyway."
Melinda "Somethin bout a book. I wanna see what it is."
Wanda looks at Mel
Janice rattles off a new order to the Greek for Wanda
Sal raises an eyebrow

Waiter <"ok got it. anything else?">
Sal "What kinda book."
Janice comes back to the table drinking her water up
Charles looks at Mel and at Wanda , then back at that clock
Waiter <"guess not">
Janice looks back at the waiter and shakes her head no
Melinda "I don't know. That's what I wanna find out. We just need to know where that address is."
Janice looks at Charles "You okay there pal?"
Charles "What what?"
Janice Hands Chuck a good cigar.
Sal "I know where it is but you don't want to go there."
Wanda looks at Sal
Melinda "Why is that?"
Janice looks at Sal, "We have been worse places"
Charles "No thank you Ms Covington"
Janice shrugs "thought you highbrow Gents liked a good cigar
Sal "no one has ever come out of there"
Janice thinks about the basement at faces a certain bar she knows from what Sal said then shakes herself from it
Charles "Were did you hear that?"
Wanda "what do you mean 'out of there'? zis doesn’t sound good"
Janice "oh I spent time in England"
Melinda brow knot together "Is it a place or a building?" thinking to herself it was an address.
Janice "Most of my relatives are there"
Sal "It's look trust me you find nothing but trouble there"
Wanda sighs "Great she loves ze trouble"
Charles "Oh maybe I have meet them back in the isles"
Janice looks at Sal and pushes her hat up off her head, "Sal I can handle trouble, now out with it"
Melinda "Sal if ya know where it is just tell us."
Sal "But if you want me to show you where it is but I want some money up front"
Wanda "Can you show us where ziz place is?"
Melinda wonders if the waiter is ever gonna show up with the food.
Janice puts the cigar in her mouth knowing Mel will probably say something
Waiter comes back with the food and a smile
Melinda "Money isn't the problem. How much do ya need?"
Janice looks at Melinda's bosom, "give him a taste of what we got"
Sal "500."
Melinda covers her bosom with her hand "Janice stop it."
Charles sips some tea
Janice "500 dinars? no problem"
Melinda sighs "Ok we can do that."
Janice looks at Mel, "Give it to him."
Melinda reaches down between her bosoms and pulls out some money.
Melinda licks her thumb and counts out 500 dinars
Sal 's eyes get wider
Melinda "There ya go. 500 dinars" placing it in front of Sal
Wanda grins
Sal puts the money in his pocket
Melinda rolls up the rest of the money puling it back in it's hiding place.
Wanda watches Mel and smiles
Charles begins to eat his breakfast , in a much cleaner manner then Sal earlier displaced
Melinda "Now, when do we leave?"
Sal "now about the supplies it will cost 1000 dinars to get all your stuff"
Wanda sees a yellow flower on the table and puts it in Mel’s hair "zhere zat is nice no?"
Janice "Sal its a few things"
Melinda sighs to herself thinkin "Why didn't he tell me that before I put the money back?"
Janice "Whats a few bits of clothes, hell I’m small"
Sal "some of it is hard to come by with these damn nazi's around"
Melinda smiles "Thank ya Wanda it's lovely."
Wanda giggles "I’m glad he didn’t tell you"
Janice "We just like watching you dig it out"
Charles "Dig?"
Melinda ignores all the comments as she counts out more money "Anythin else before I put it away again?"
Wanda smiles
Janice looks at Sal, "Okay here’s the deal, you come to the meeting place with us and I will pay you after it"
Wanda bites her tongue
Janice "No Mel put it away again" looks at Wanda and shakes her head 'no don’t say it'
Sal "ok I get your stuff and meet you in the lobby of this hotel"
Charles blinks and sips his tea
Janice looks at chuck and winks, "Oh yeah Mel can dig in a bra better than anyone else I know"
Melinda mumbles to herself, looking annoyed and shoves the money back to down the front of her shirt.
Wanda "do you have a truck Sal? I don’t like ze idea of riding in zat German thing."
Charles looks at Melinda and blushes a bit
Janice "Sal lets eat this wonderful food "eyes the waiter coming "then go together shall we"
Waiter comes over <"anything else?">
Sal "I do but there is a rental fee"
Janice giggles, "The German thing is Nixed there little lady"
Melinda "I am NOT goin there again."
Waiter "oh sorry English. You need anything else?"
Janice eats her food and is happy. Janice shakes her head no
Wanda shakes her head
Melinda looks around "What is everyone lookin at. It's not goin to happen. The money is gonna stay down there for a while."
Wanda finishes her meal
Melinda starts to eat her food

Charles finishes his meal as well
Janice looks up at Mel, "what the hell are you talking about"- food in mouth and stuffed face
Melinda "Nothin Janice."
Janice shovels the last bit in and relaxes a bit before the bill
Melinda goes about eating her food again
Janice "reminds me of this place called Denny's, only they were open all night"
Sal stands and says "250 for your supplies, but they are going to be low grade"
Janice "Low grade kacki pants! what is it goodwill?"
Wanda looks to the door "well...shal we"
Sal "is it a deal"
Janice "okay but if the seams bust I’m gonna shoot you"

Sal hops in the back and pulls some blankets off the crates in the back and begins to pull out the supplies the group wanted

Sal hopes out of the back and get's into the truck and starts it up

Wanda hangs on (she remembers how Janice can drive)

Narrator Both trucks head out towards this 'address'
Melinda opened her mouth as if she was gonna say something but shuts it.
Narrator They drive for about 30 minutes until Sal’s truck comes to a slow stop. They are in front of what looks like a shack. It must have been abandoned for years
Melinda counts her blessings that she had her seatbelt on

Charles blinks at Wanda "were?"

Melinda looks at the building "This is the place?" and gets outta the truck.

Narrator Inside lies a table against the wall and a book case. The rest is empty.
Charles looks into the dark

Narrator There are papers all around and what looks like writting on the walls. The writting is in Latin.

Charles sits up "They should really tidy up this place."
Janice "Don’t know Mel, just in the spooky movies someone always gets it in the basement."
Melinda looks over to see Charles sitting up and giggles.
Sal "It didn't involve me coming down with you."
Melinda shakes her head "Janice Covington be serious now."

Charles "Right" puts it back in the holster , it goes off , and he looks down at his boot Charles "Oh my that’s a bit off"

Narrator The cave is dark and you hear and echo

Narrator You smell the dust and cant see the end of the cave
Melinda hopes she doesn't have to actually use her gun

Narrator You look to your left and see torch on the wall
Janice heads in and shines it on all she can

Narrator There appears to be writing on the right side wall

Sal "I’m allergic to caves of death, Think happy thoughts." (repeating) Sal chickens out when he sees how dark it is, "I’ll wait in my truck for you guys "
Janice "Wimp."
Charles "Yes bit of a wet blanket isn't he."
Wanda "Ok Sal."
Melinda "Of course he's not going to leave us, we still own him money." looks round the cave
Narrator A torch on the left
Janice shines her penlight again on the right side for Melinda
Narrator You don’t see an end to the cave
Melinda walks up to read the writing on the wall
Charles will try Janice, but he ain’t promising
Narrator The writing is in Chinese
Melinda knows she can't read that.
Janice laughs, "right up my alley again!
Narrator As you move further you see a symbol on the wall...if is (hold on to your hat) a green dragon
Melinda "Oh my now what can that mean?"
Janice holds her hat and looks at it "AH HA! the Green Dragon" she says in ominous tones, thinks, That same warning I hid from the others.
Melinda looks over to Charles and shrugs.
Charles "The what’s?"
Wanda "Why does that sound familiar?"
Melinda "I don't know anythin bout a green dragon."
Janice "Alright I’m going in..." turns back, "You keep Chuck here company I will be right back." darts into the cave
Melinda "But..."sighs as Janice disappears into the cave.
Narrator You hear the echo of Janice's foot steps
Melinda looks at Charles and Wanda "Should we have gone in there with her?"
Charles shrugs
Wanda "maybe"
Melinda calls into the mouth of the cave. "Janice is everythin ok in there?" waits then, yells a little louder "Janice!"
Narrator Moments pass
Melinda "I'm gettin a funny feelin bout this." she tries again "Janice!"
Janice cries out "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!"
Narrator You hear the sound of rocks crashing
Charles "I say"
Melinda "Oh good lord what was that?!?!"
Wanda runs towards the sound
Melinda "Janice are you ok?!?"
Charles starts to move down the tunnel
Melinda follows them "I knew she shouldn't have gone in there alone."
Wanda stops before a seemingly bottomless pit
Melinda is right behind Charles and still following him
Narrator Charles and Wanda stop seeing the pit
Melinda stops suddenly after seeing them stop, or tries rather too.

Melinda nods is shaking like a leaf in storm, hands the whip to Janice

Janice with one hand holding them from certain death the others falls free and whips the whip up and tries to make it reach Charles

Melinda is so scared her teeth are chattering, and has her eyes shut tight and is still praying

Melinda "Janice are we there yet? I don't wanna open my eyes if we aren’t."
Charles bets she planned that
Janice "Okay now hold on we are climbing up."
Melinda "Climbin?!?!!? Oh dear god."

Narrator The two reach the top with only a few scrapes
Melinda tries to get at better grip around Janice's body
Janice jumps, "And not there either!"
Melinda "Oh I'm sorry." moves her hand
Janice "Hell buy me dinner first not like I was at a book signing or anything."
Narrator Charles and Wanda help them to stand up
Charles "Are you alright?"
Melinda "Janice this is no time for jokes! I wanna get outta here!" she cries

Narrator 10 seconds later he hears it hit the ground

Narrator They hear a rumble and see some of the stone Janice is on fall away but she is still safe

Narrator the four were in the cave
Melinda still looks shaken from almost falling into the hole.

Smithers "A book wish Wanda, if find it quite remarkable that you can read."
Charles "Well , I was always told ladies first"
Smithers "What kind of Book is it we are seeking, in a cold damp cave?"
Wanda plays with rocks on the ground

Wanda grabs Janice’s shoulder to help
Janice "Grab the goddamned whip!"

Smithers undoes his belt and swings for the whip with it
Wanda but is not strong enough to help pull he up

Narrator Charles makes it across

Melinda is getting ready to faint here in a minute if someone does get her up outta here.
Janice pulls something in her left arm "How much do you firkin weigh!"
Narrator Wanda still doesn’t have the strength to help
Melinda feels her other shoe fall down the hole.
Janice starts to slide down the hole too, bracing herself, "God damn it "
Narrator Charles tries to help them pull her up but she is just too heavy
Melinda feels around with her fingertips on the wall for something to grab onto.
Janice has burns, and god knows what else wrong with her body over this

Narrator Smithers tries to whip his belt out there and fails falling down the hole...luckily he grabs onto the wall too
Janice hooks her ankle around the whip.... "OUCH!!!!!!' thinks, ‘You had better be carrying something Mel!’
Melinda hugs the wall as much as she can
Narrator Charles starts to make headway bringing Mel up. She is slowly moving up
Smithers holds on to the rock face, then looks shocked as his pants start to fall down
Narrator Meanwhile Smithers remains dangling
Janice feels her leg and hands loosen around the whip as Charles pulls her up, "Hey Wanda go git him"
Charles tries to grab the whip
Smithers does a comic dance in mid air to keep his pants at his knees
Wanda "Anyone have another whip?"
Smithers "Err, I say everyone, I seem to have a slight problem here!"
Melinda tries to look over her shoulder at Smithers but almost looses her balance on the little ledge she's standing on and hugs the wall again.
Janice rubs her hands and helps Chuck up with Mel again
Wanda looks at poor Smithers
Melinda looks up after hearing Smithers comment. "You have a problem!?" and looks down.

Narrator Janice helps pull Mel all the way up, Mel reaches the edge safely

Melinda "Wanda I almost died. And look," holding up her foot... "I lost my shoes again."

Melinda "Well do you have any idea how much those shoes cost me?"
Smithers screws his face up waiting for the pain, letting his knees relax ands causing his pants to slide lower
Narrator Janice attempts a whip trick wrapping it around Smithers waist
Melinda slow releases her hold on Wanda, backs away from the hole trying to compose herself.
Charles braces him self some more

Melinda finds a rock at sit down on and starts to fan herself with her hand.
Narrator Janice with Charles holding on to her manages to pull Smithers up and out of the pit
Janice glances back at Mel behind her rock

Narrator All members of the group are now safely on the other side
Charles watches Smithers come up
Wanda "Ooo la la."
Melinda finally sees Smithers puling up his pants which causes her to giggle a little.
Charles stands there staring into space
Janice helps Smithers to his feet, "damn we are the same size"she thinks

Charles thinks he is forgetting some thing

Melinda wonders if there are gonna be anymore holes in this cave.

Wanda looks at Melinda’s feet "Sorry bout ze shoes."
Janice looks down, full breasts... etc... , "Sir???"
Melinda sighs "Well better the shoes then me."
Smithers "Oh Sorry Marm, but with your trousers and everything I sometimes forget."
Janice grabs her breast to make sure they are still on, "Sure Smithers whatever you say."
Melinda slows stands up brushing off her skirt and looks at everyone.
Narrator The group hears a thumping, coming from the darkness
Smithers "Charles, what did you do?"
Melinda "Now that on heavens sakes is that sound?"
Charles "What did I do?"
Wanda "I don’t wanna know."
Melinda tries to look toward where the sound is coming from.
Janice looks in her own 'I have no idea what you are all looking for' way
Narrator You cant see where it is coming from
Melinda "What is that?"
Smithers "Now Charles, you were standing around idly, you must have done something."
Melinda squints and points "What is that?"
Wanda sees nothing
Smithers "Over there, Look!"
Janice peers into the area
Melinda "Or who is that? Can y'all see that?"
Charles shrugs "Maybe its alive ..."
Wanda squints, "I don’t zee anything."
Melinda is still squinting trying to determine what it is. "Over there. Looks like a person, a figure or somethin."
Smithers pulls out his gun as once again his trousers fall down.
Narrator They can tell that the sound is coming from that shadow
Janice walks up to it and pulls her gun staying more than four feet away
Wanda pulls her new gun
Melinda "Janice you be careful now."
Charles follows directly behind Janice, still thinking there’s something he should do
Wanda follows Janice
Melinda thinks she lost her gun down the hole cause she doesn't have it.
Charles "Oh right"
Nicholas "Oh what befalls me? There in plan sight is three goddesses of beauty!" winks and grins walks over and gives each girl a kiss on the hand, "ello names Nicholas Netherwood."
Charles puts his hands to his side

Narrator The group was standing over the strange man in the cave
Nicholas is dressed in a white shirt, Kaki pants, boots, and black leather jacket
Smithers walks back into shoot "I see the rocks are offensive as well as amusing."
Melinda doesn't have on heels
Narrator Melinda has lost her shoes, again
Janice looks up at Mel, "loose your shoes again?"
Melinda sighs "Yes I did." and is frowning.
Wanda looks at the stranger "What are you doing in zis cave?"
Charles "What are we doing here again?"
Janice "Looking for the book."
Nicholas "I'm working."
Charles "Oh of course."
Janice nods to Charles
Nicholas offers his hand "Historian, Princeton" grins
Charles nods blinks and just looks confused
Janice "Doctor, Harvard."

Wanda "Whore, France"
Melinda whispers to Janice "Where do all these people come from? First that woman Helena, now Nicholas outta no where."
Charles fell out of the sky remember Mel

Nicholas nods and smiles
Janice shrugs
Melinda looks a little embarrassed that Charles over heard her whisperin ta Janice.
Nicholas "So what are you doing here? Looking up the history of this here Xena character? Like me?"
Janice chuckles, "Xena character?"
Melinda has a confused look on her face "What are ya talkin bout?"
Nicholas "I'm on a grant here to study up on this here Xena"
Janice "And who the hell would grant you something no one knows about?"
Smithers examines Charles and looks for the bungee rope
Melinda "You're on a grant to study Xena? Well I never heard of her until I met Janice here."
Nicholas "Well I for one do."
Janice "And I ask, who granted you this?"
Charles "Who's Xena?"
Nicholas "A Historian knows... some fella at Princeton"

Melinda looks at Janice

Smithers looks at Mel in a new light, and thinks she has very pretty feet

Janice looks at Mel and Hums, "in denial" and twists her finger around her head... in the coo coo motion
Nicholas thinks ‘Nice maybe this trip wasn't all for not.’ "So what are you all doing there, eh?"

Nicholas "Like what?"
Narrator The group sees the wall and what the man was looking at. It is the same writing the saw in the shack
Janice "Mel git your can up here - more writings for you."
Melinda notices the writings
Smithers peers over so he can hear better and maybe peer down Mel’s cleveage
Melinda walks up to it. "Is this what you were lookin at."
Nicholas "Yes."
Charles wriggles his moustache and walks up behind Mel and Janice
Janice looks over the only writing "Yes Mel this is all of it." and glances over at Smithers standing on tip toes just to see down Mel's blouse and hits him in the shoulder, giving him the look
Janice reads it; The wise walk a careful path. The Right man is safe
Smithers murmurs "Very interesting curves."
Melinda is tryin ta translate the writins on the wall.
Janice looks down the path, "Okay all follow me"
Charles "Jolly good." follows Janice
Melinda "But Janice don't ya think I should try to translate this. I mean, maybe it's warnin us bout another hole or somethin."

Smithers looks back at Janice "Curves to the hieroglyphs, don't you think?"

Narrator The group notices they can go two different ways in the cave
Janice has her whip at the ready

Janice stops and looks at everything

Janice "I was reiterating for Mel"
Nicholas "I think we walk the right path."
Charles bumps into Janice
Smithers follows any female bottom, except Janice’s

Charles "Which right mans that?"
Janice "Shhhh" is listening for something
Wanda is following Janice not knowing what to do
Nicholas has a nasty looking knife straped to his belt (not that kinda knife!!!)
Melinda "But Janice.. it also said that the green dragon has cursed this cave."
Nicholas "Green dragon?"
Narrator Janice hears an echo
Wanda "The who?"
Melinda "Again with the green dragon."
Charles "Curses?"
Wanda "What is zat?"
Janice pulls out a small coin and throws it down the corridor
Melinda shrugs "That's what it said."
Wanda looks at Janice
Janice looks back and whispers to all "There is no such things as curses!"
Smithers "As its a green dragon it may well be a vegetarian."
Nicholas "Maybe...."
Wanda "I hope so."
Narrator The groups hears a small rumble sound. It doesn’t sound like rocks but something else.
Nicholas "Uh anyone else heard that?"
Smithers "Are we going to continue to bumble alone everyone?"
Janice looks back and pulls her gun, "Everyone step back please."- calmly
Charles blinks and steps back
Smithers "Oh yes stand back, she is a lousy shot!"
Wanda pulls her gun and steps back
Smithers takes out his gun
Janice shoots next to Smithers, "Shush", it misses.
Nicholas takes out his knife!
Janice "Lucky bastard" Janice looks up at the rocks that then fall on Smithers head, "You were saying?"
Wanda The group now hears the noise again but louder
Nicholas waves the sword limpy
Smithers "And a worse sense of humour, may I ask if you are menstruating at the moment Sir?"
Janice looks for the sir
Smithers brushes rock dust off of his hat
The rumble comes closer
Janice turns and trains her gun down the cavern, aims
Nicholas "Uuhhh.....I think uh oh would best suited for this."
Janice ducks
Charles wonders if its water
Janice hits the dirt
Nicholas ducks also
Janice looses her hat
Nicholas "Damn forsaken Bats!"
Wanda "Wha...."
Charles blinks
Smithers goes for one of the packs, looking for a torch
Wanda is confused "What’s going on?"
Charles "I have no idea Wanda"
Nicholas "So do this often?"
Janice "yes all the time"
Nicholas before crawling to Janice he checks out her butt and thinks "nice ass"
Melinda sees the bats coming her way and tries to duck down.
Narrator The rumble is getting closer as a horde of bats come flying out of the whole
Melinda is totally clueless that bats are coming her way.
Nicholas "So wanna grab something to eat later?"
Janice "Yeah I will be hungry."
Narrator The bats are swarming and flying against those that didn’t see it coming
Melinda "What on heavens sakes is that?!?"
Smithers lights a torch and starts waving it around
Janice crawls under the bats and towards the cave
Nicholas "My treat" smiles and follows
Janice grabs her hat on the way, "You got it Nick."
Melinda is gettin ready to faint. "Oh my goodness."
Wanda franticly batting at her own head
Charles still stands calmly
Nicholas "Hey be happy they not vamp bats!"
Janice turns bat, "Wanda hit the dirt! They cant hurt you then!"
Smithers starts toward Mel and Wanda
Janice chuckles at Nick, "Or rabid" makes the yuck face
Melinda feels the blood draining from her face.
Nicholas grins "That too."
Wanda dives to the ground bumping her head and leaving a bit of a gash
Charles pulls a bat off his face and promptly gets hit by another
Melinda starts to black out and fall.
Janice looks back, come on they are nearly out
Nicholas "yeah....."
Smithers waves the torch and then drops it to catch Mel
Janice sees Mel fall and gets on her knees, (typical Xena yell here) "Mel!"
Nicholas rolls over, "Let me help ya."
Janice crawls to the girls, "Damn, its only bats"
Melinda has fainted is out cold.
Narrator the last of the bats is out only after pooping on Wanda’s head
Charles still standing blinks at every one on the ground
Smithers lowers Mel to the floor
Wanda wipes the goo off her head and holds her bleeding cut
Janice crawls to Mel and gently pats her face, "Mel wake up."
Nicholas rips off some of his shirt and wraps the cut up
Janice glances to Wanda, <"You okay.">
Charles takes a handkerchief and removes his cap, having a bat fly out from under it he wipes his forehead "Well that was different huh chaps?"
Wanda "I seem to have ze bump."
Nicholas "Be lucky you didn't die eh?"
Janice "Mel wake up there is a sale at Tiffiny’s."
Melinda starts to stir "Huh, what... what happened?" she opens her eyes "What..."
Janice cradles Mel now that she moved, "Hello, Unco, you fainted again."
Melinda looks dazed and confused "What am I doin on the ground?"
Smithers picks up the torch and looks down the cave to the right
Charles "Well carry on shell we?"
Melinda sits up "I fainted?"
Nicholas "so ya alright?" to Mel and Wanda
Janice nods to the gents, "Mel come on it was only little rodents,"
Wanda "Yeah I think so"
Melinda "I think I am. Why did I faint?"
Nicholas "Rodents with wings"
Wanda snickers at Mel
Janice "I have no idea you do that allot."
Melinda "Rodents?!?"
Janice "Yes Mel Bats"
Melinda gets up fast and nearly fall backwards.
Charles "Bats?, where?"
Janice catches her, "I am not carrying you"
Melinda looks up and around "Bats? Oh my!"
Smithers looks to Mel "Flying Mice Madam, nothing dangerous."
Janice nods to the outside, "There Charles"
Nicholas "Miss just take a deep breath"
Charles "Look at that."
Janice steadies Mel on her own feet and backs back a bit "You alright?"
Narrator They see a long very dark cavern
Nicholas leans to a wall and take out his lighter to check it out, his shirt is ripped.
Janice looks at the cavern and lights a cigar, sighing
Melinda "I think so. Well, just as long as we don't run inta anymore bats, that is."
Smithers continues to peer down the long very dark cavern using the torch for light
Janice "Nah they have gone out hunting for the night Mel."- walks down the cavern carefully
Charles goes over to Wanda "Are you alright Ms DePoisson?"
Wanda looks at Janice "What the hell is in here?" looks up and smiles "Oui I think I will be fine thank you."
Janice walks down the cavern carefully, whistling I’m in denial, my life's a trial...
Melinda takes her hanky outta it's hiding place and blots her forehead with it.
Nicholas is checking it out
Charles starts to follow "Hold on"
Nicholas "hmm....."
Melinda looks at everyone looking at her. "Shall we go?"
Janice is gone down the corridor
Charles "Just a second Ms Pappas"
Nicholas "hmmm wha we have here now eh?"
Melinda tries to catch up with Janice, but steps on a sharp rock "Oww."

Charles follows them "Alright better"
Wanda looks at Mel "You are getting your color back."
Nicholas "So wha we have here?"
Smithers goes to Mel "Would you like a piggy back madam?"
Melinda "Wanda I didn't even see those bats until it was too late."
Nicholas "heh...."
Charles "To late for what?"
Melinda "Hmm no that's quit alright Smithers. I think I'll be ok."
Janice stops and puts her hand up , "Shush everyone"
Nicholas nods
Smithers shushes
Melinda "To late and they were flyin through my hair, to late."
Janice looks at the stuff on the wall
Janice "Mel sush."
Melinda shuts her yap.
Charles keeps quiet
Nicholas looks around
Melinda listens and doesn't hear anything.
Janice listens and looks at the walls intently with her lighter lit over the rocks
Wanda looking about
Melinda makes her way over to the wall that Janice is looking at.
Smithers uses the torch
 

Janice is looking everywhere, "Its too still." she whispers, "No one move."
Charles doesn't move
Narrator Janice sees some more writing
Janice reads it A careful step is needed
Janice crouches down and touches the rock floor in front of her, inspects it with her lighter
Narrator Janice sees that there are indentations in the groups every other step

Narrator You all notice that some of the people in the cave are strangely quiet
Janice "Mel come on we have to get Wanda out of here"
Charles was still standing, looking at every one laying on the ground
Melinda shakes her self outta the confused state she's in and looks over to Wanda.
Wanda looks at Janice "I think I need to find something to put on this."
Janice adjusts the quick bandage that the new guy already up on Wanda's head "I think we need to get her back Now."
Melinda takes out her hanky and holds it to Wanda's head "Maybe this'll help."
Janice gets to her feet and looks for a way out
Charles "Righty oh then."
Wanda "Thanks Mel"
Janice looks at Charles, "I need you to help Wanda."
Melinda looks from one end of the cave to the other. "Which way? I hope we don't have ta go over that hole again."
Wanda looks at Charles
Charles "um ... right" goes over to help Wanda
Wanda looks at the hole "oh goodie"
Janice recoils her whip and looks around squinting in the dark, "May have to Mel."
Melinda sighs "Not again." makes her way back towards the way they came from.
Wanda looks at Smithers "do you think you can keep you pants on this time" she is annoyed when he just nods. Janice inches around it a bit, "We need a better plan this time."
Wanda "We need some better equipment, no?"
Melinda "How bout a bridge?"
Janice "We need a bridge"
Wanda gets up off the ground
Charles "For what?"
Janice looks at Mel, how does she do that
Melinda is not lookin forward to goin over that hole again.
Charles helps Wanda up
Wanda looks at the girls "I like how you think"
Janice looks up and attempts to whip a stalactite
Melinda shrugs while grinning to herself.
Wanda hold on to Charles "My what strong arms."
Charles "Um thank you"
Melinda looks up hoping that thing doesn't break off and fall on them.
Janice pulls it back and whips it up....
Narrator The whip hits the rock and they hear a rumble.......
Melinda watches and prays.
Charles "Hmm , must be a tea break"
Melinda looks around "Now what?"
Narrator The stalactite is nudged loose and the see it begin to fall
Janice pulls Melinda back, looks down
Melinda stumbles backwards. "Watch out!" she yells to the others.
Wanda hits the deck again
Narrator the chunk of rock hits the ground and they see dust rising
Janice smiles to herself, and yanks her whip free
Melinda waves her hands in the air to clear the dust away from her face.
Charles blinks and looks back down at Wanda
Janice walks across the 'bridge' "Coming?"
Melinda looks over at the bridge in amazement. "How did ya do that?"
Narrator As the dust clears they all see that the rock has plugged the hole on one side
Janice smugly "I have many skills, Mel"
Wanda mumbles to herself "show off"
Charles "I say!"
Melinda smirks at Janice's comment and makes her way carefully over the bridge.
Janice grins and chews her cheek
Big Rod cheers wildly from his easy chair and pops another Doritos into his mouth
Wanda gets up and heads towards the others
Charles follows
Melinda turns around to make sure Wanda is ok.
Janice makes her way back to the truck
Wanda is bleeding a bit
Wanda makes her way to the cave entrance
Janice shields her eyes from the harsh afternoon sun
Wanda sees the truck parked not to far away and heads towards it
Charles follows helping Wanda, if she needs help
Janice adjusts her hat and looks back, "Put Wanda in the front, less movement."
Wanda looks at Charles and winks "I really do thank you for zis."
Melinda looks at the back of the truck and sighs.
Janice starts the truck and looks back at the cave "Everyone in?"
Wanda climbs in the back
Charles helps Wanda into the truck
Melinda climbs up, barefooted into the back of the truck. Knows she better hold onto her hat or it'll go flying off her head.
Janice looks at the empty seat besides her
Melinda "Charles jump in the front with Janice. I'll keep an eye on Wanda back here."
Narrator the truck makes it way down the road towards the town, Time passes and you come to the edge of the town
Melinda makes sure Wanda is comfy and ok.
Wanda looks towards Janice "Can you fix my head I hate ze doctors"
Janice heads back to town
Charles pours him self some tea
Wanda looks at Melinda and winks "Thanks you"
Janice "Sorry kiddo, I ain't that kinda of Doctor"
Melinda smiles at Wanda. "We're almost there."
Wanda grumbles "I’m not going to ze doctors I tell you!"
Janice pulls into the hotel and rushes in, "Bring her in I will send for a Doctor"
Wanda "Unless that cute Trent is still there however."
Melinda "Wanda, ya have ta go." and helps Wanda outta the back of the truck.
Janice rushes to the lobby and demands they bring out their house doctor
Wanda grins up at Mel "I thought your hands would have some calluses"
Melinda "That's Janice's not mine, dear."
Janice nods
Wanda "oh yeah that’s right"
Melinda "Charles? Could ya get me a little help here with Wanda please?"
Charles gets out and helps Melinda with Wanda
Narrator A man appears in a trench coat carrying a doctors bag
Melinda walks with Wanda and Charles.
Wanda looks over at the man
Big Rod taking off his coat and throwing his bag to the ground "Somebody call for the doct- Oh... uh... hi Jan.."
Janice "Rod DeLong, what the hell?"
Wanda thinks she recognizes the man from a from one of her working nights and sighs
Melinda shakes her head when she spots it's Big Rod. "You're the doctor?"
Charles "Who's a doctor?"
Big Rod shushes Jan and Mel, "Hey, uh, that's Doctor Rod."
Janice "Oh he's no Doctor." Looks up at Rod, "What scam you got going now?"
Wanda "I really don’t think he should be poking me in the head...er anywhere right now."
Melinda points to Big Rod "No he's not."
Janice "I leave you for two days, how the hell did you get out of those woods anyway?"
Wanda sighs in relief "Thank god."
Charles "Who's not what... what?"
Big Rod looks around making sure the hotel manager is nowhere in site, "Hey, keep it down.. for all they know I'm a doctor. Don't blow this for me Jan, business has been slow"
Janice looks at Charles, "He's no Doctor."
Melinda points to Big Rod "He's not a doctor at all."
Wanda hates to be pushy and looks at Charles "You can do ze field dressings, no?"
Janice "Charles allow me to introduce Big Rod, he" thinks about that, "Supplies our digs"
Melinda shakes her head again at Big Rod. "Janice where do ya meet these fellas?"
Charles goes over to Big Rod "Argh so your not the Doctor... Or are you?"
Big Rod rambles on about having played doctor several times.. how hard could it be?
Charles "What digs?"
Melinda makes her way over the couch to sit down cause her feet are killin her.
Janice shakes her head, "Okay everyone in the truck, the DOCTOR (loud for the hotel staff to hear) says we need to take you to the HOSPITAL, miss... er what's your last name?"
Wanda follows Melinda because her head is killing her, "DePoisson."
Melinda looks up at the others "Where are we goin?"
Big Rod pulls bandages out of the bag scattering gauze everywhere, "Yeah, the hospital would be good."
Janice walks over and retrieves the girls, "Melinda go up to the room I will drop them off, you grab our gear and put on those boots I am going back to that cave."
Wanda sighs and stands up

Melinda slowly gets up off the couch. "Well I guess I do need ta put on somethin on my feet. But the boots?"
Melinda watches them leave and heads for the elevator.
Janice "Get in the truck Rod I don’t have much daylight left."

Big Rod yells to Janice, "I'll meet you there. I'll take my jeep, you look pretty crowded there."
Narrator They head towards the hospital not too far away
Melinda can see from the corner of her eye that the lift operator is glancing over to her. She thinks to herself, "If he says anythin bout the other night with Janice, I'm gonna smack him."
Wanda sees the hospital ahead, mumbles "I hate ze doctors"
Melinda is in her room changing outta her clothes. "Wonder if I have time for a bubble bath?"
Janice pulls up and gets Wanda inside
Big Rod pulls his jeep up near the front entrance with a puff of smoke and the sound of random parts flying everywhere..
Extra Voice Over "OUCH MY EYE!"
Big Rod without looking back, "Sorry about that... Jan, wait up!"
Narrator Time passes, Wanda is in with the Doctor only moments.
Wanda finds out she will need stitches
Janice looks for the front of the cue line to the hospital
Big Rod seeming to notice Wanda's condition for the first time, "Is she okay?"
Charles blinks in the back of the truck and sips some tea
Narrator While in the hospital even though pissed Wanda agrees to the stitches
Melinda decides she has time for a quickie (bubble bath that is) and starts to run the water.
Janice "I hope so Rod, hate to have her bitching the whole time." Janice spidey sense is tingling
Wanda looks at Jan "You go back to the hotel I can meet you zhere, no?"
Melinda looks in her suitcase for her rubber ducky, then makes her way back to the bathroom.
Janice stops by and says hi to Trent for a moment then heads back tot he hotel "Rod I'm gonna need a few things, can you get them and meet us back at the Hotel in an hour?" hands Rod a quick note ripping a blank page from her journal
Melinda is enjoying her bath. "Hope they take their time at the hospital."
Big Rod pulls out his notepad, "What ya need, toots?"
Janice looks back and sees Wanda she sighs, "Wanda you gonna be okay?"
Melinda submerges herself for a sec and blows bubble under the water.
Big Rod carefully transfer her notes into his pad, "How about a little cash up front Ja-... Jan?" looks around the waiting room to find that she's left him all alone...
Wanda smiles sheepishly, "Hummm I will be done in a second. You will wait? I don’t want to walk back"
Janice "Can you leave yet Wanda?"
Wanda looks up at the doctor as he puts the last stitch in "Oh oui."
Melinda washes up quickly before they get back to the hotel. Thinks to herself At least I'm not gonna be in here for a week.
Charles sips some tea
Wanda hops off the table slaps the doctor on the butt and joins Janice
Janice looks at the crew and sighs, "Adventure number three coming up." she mutters
Wanda "Thanks for ze wait"
Janice "Right then, everyone in the truck we will grab a bite of food before going back to the cave."
Melinda looks around the bathroom for a towel to dry herself off with and gets outta the tub.
Wanda heads towards the truck and gets in the passenger side
Janice heads back to the hotel
Big Rod limps out to his jeep and struggles his way into the driver's seat starting her up in another puff of smoke, "Rod get this. Rod get that. Money?!? Nobody thinks to give me money. Pick on the fat guy, that's how it always goes." Drives away from the hospital and around a corner disappearing from view.
Melinda finds her robe and puts it on her. She is not looking forward to wearing those boots.
Wanda looks at Janice "Can we just get ze service for food. I don’t want ze restaurant"
Janice smiles, "Mel's a man? Could be fun..."
Narrator They head back towards the hotel, And arrive not too long after
Janice looks at them "Charles you up for a spot of tea?" she pulls out her watch, "Yep its four p.m."
Melinda walks over to the bed and starts to change into the other outfit and boots.
Wanda hopes she can get a bath too
Charles "Jolly good"
Melinda has a disapproving look on her face as she laces up the boots. "How does she wear these things all the time?"
Janice slaps Charles hard on the back, "Good I'm starved."
Wanda wanders into the hotel, looks at Janice "I really need ze bed."
Janice leads them to their suite
Wanda "Er ze room."
Melinda goes bout gathering up their gear.
Wanda gets to the door and waits for Jan to unlock it
Janice goes up the lift, and gets the key out for the room and turns the lock, "Mel are you wearing my shirt?"
Charles follows ... some one
Wanda wonders why Smithers was so quiet the whole time and decides he must be tired
Melinda looks down at her shirt and shrugs. "It was layin on the bed. And I just put it on."
Janice looks at the seams pulling, "I just had that washed, you are gonna rip it."
Melinda "Why? Is it too tight on me?"
Wanda finds herself wishing Mel wasn’t wearing that shirt
Melinda "Guess it is."
Janice looks her over, "Mel, I can see that your bra came from Harrods."
Charles goes to waits out side
Wanda just watches the two
Melinda covers herself up "What are ya talkin bout?"
Wanda wonders why Mel is always feeling her own breasts
Melinda notices that Wanda is always looking at her when she is feeling her bosoms.
Janice taps the tag on her back, "Says here: wash warm Yep Harrods, I can see the embroidery"
Wanda wanders around cleaning herself up and changing into some pants
Charles hopes she was wearing pants before
Melinda looks over at Charles, "You can come in if ya want ta Charles."
Charles "Um no that’s alright."
Wanda "Don’t be shy."
Janice digs through Mel's clothes and finds a practical blouse, "Here wear this."
Wanda "We don’t bite" and looks at Mel "Well most of us don’t bite."
Melinda shakes her head "Ok suit yourself if ya want ta stand in the hallway."
Janice grabs the phone and turns to Charles, handing him the phone (long cord), "Call room service"
Melinda takes the blouse and heads to the bathroom "Ok."
Wanda fondly remembers her dream
Charles walks in looking the over way, and trips in the progress
Wanda sits on the bed absorbed in her own thoughts
Melinda From the bathroom - "Is everythin ok with Wanda? What did the doctor say bout her head?"
Janice holds the phone cord waiting for Charles to gather himself back up again.
Melinda changes outta Janice’s shirt into her own.
Janice wonders how many stitches were broken
Melinda thinks to herself "Didn't seem to tight ta me."
Janice "My poor shirt"
Charles gets up
Wanda lets herself grin
Janice hands the phone and smiles at Charles, "Get me a beer while you are at it too"
Melinda buttons up her own shirt and opens the bathroom door "How's this?" holding her arms out.
Wanda shakes herself outta her dream "Oh Mel sorry, I have ze stitches nothing to worry."
Charles blinks, and takes the phone
Melinda hands Janice back her shirt.
Janice "Perfect, now can we get a game plan here?"
Wanda grins and falls back into her day dreaming, "huh...oh yeah right."
Charles talks to room service
Melinda makes her way over to the bed and sits down besides Wanda.
Janice looks at the stitching on the shirt, "Damn I have to go back to Istanbul to get another one."
Wanda takes out her letter opener and begins sharpening it on the bed
Charles "No earl grey... what you mean you never heard of it? What type of hotel is this?" waits "The tenth finest in Greece?" waits, "What’s the ninth?" waits "Thought that was in Sweden?"
Janice waits for Charles to get off the phone and arranges the furniture to fit the group, moving a chair there and a couch here.
Wanda looks up at Janice "So what now?"
Melinda looks over at Charles and asks, "Who's he talkin ta?"
Janice pulls the couch with all her might and angles it just right
Charles puts the phone down
Melinda is still siting on the bed.
Janice puts up her hands and fingers and looks at the layout like a painter with a painting
Charles "Right , now what?"
Wanda is still fiddling with her thingy
Janice "It’s perfect."
Wanda looks up
Melinda looking over at Janice "What's perfect?"
Janice looks up and grabs Melinda's notes off the desk and starts to read through them quickly and sits on the chair
Wanda "What’s perfect?"
Charles "Not me is it."
Janice looks up, "Mel are these translations right?"
Melinda "Well I would hope so Janice, concernin I translated them myself."
Wanda looks confused
Janice wonders why she is the only one sitting down in the office area she just made, "According to this one, Gabrielle is a better dancer than Xena. And yet in this one she can't dance at all. These are no help."
Wanda takes her letter opener over to Janice and looks at stuff she doesn’t understand
Janice flips the page
Wanda "Well maybe she learned it, no?"
Janice looks up just noticing everyone, "Oh everyone over here, sit down put your feet up."
Melinda shrugs "Well that's what I translated it bein." and stands up.
Wanda sits down and idly tries to balance the letter opener on the table
Janice reads a few more, skimming along her face turns read and she looks at Mel, "This one cant be right."
Wanda looks up at Janice "Who is ziz Gabrielle? Friend no?"
Melinda makes her way over to the rest of the group and sits down on the couch.
Charles puts his feet up and sits down
Wanda begins sharpening the letter opener again even though it is sharp
Janice gets drawn from that particular passage and looks at Wanda, "Ancestor of mine." she reads on, "a rather naughty ancestor of mine" she mumbles
Melinda crosses her legs, "Janice is a descendent of Gabrielle."
Wanda wishes her head would stop hurting
Charles "Who?"
Janice is too busy reading Melinda will have to do the honours
Wanda looks up smiling "Naughty you say...." pauses "Oh I think I will like zis scroll thing."
Janice stops reading, "Melinda this can't be right!"
Melinda sighs "Gabrielle was no such thing Janice and you know that." stands up and walks over to Janice "What can't be right?"
Janice shows her a page, "Is that even physically possible?"
Narrator The group hears a knock at the door
Janice glances up, "Charles can you get that?"
Charles "I'll get it." goes to the door and opens it
Melinda looks at the paper "Well, I suppose it is possible." and tilts her head to the side then the other.
Bell Boy smiles to Charles and walks in the room leaving the food and waiting for a tip
Janice "And how did you know exactly how to translate this one?" points at a different paragraph
Charles "Always put the toilet seat down "shuts the door in his face
Bell Boy is stunned, walks away grumbling
Charles grins
Narrator With the food is a note left for Janice It is from the front desk It is in Rods handwriting
Melinda looks to be a bit embarrassed. "Janice I just translate what I read. I personally don't know how that's done."
Janice glances at the note, "Probably the bill." Turns her attention back to Melinda, points to the side notes next to the paragraph in question, "Explain this then?"
Melinda opens her mouth then shuts it again.
Janice flips the page and shows her all the notes Mel wrote, "And these?" she glances at the HieRODglyphics, "Great another one I wont be able to translate properly."
Note "Jan- will leave the stuff in your truck. You own me!! I want dinner too -BR" Janice figures out the note and smiles, "Dig in everyone we are going spelunking!"
Melinda still looks embarrassed. "Apparently they did that. I don't know how to explain it."
Wanda smirks thinking of a personal joke, "Did what?"
Charles loves that word
Wanda hopes rise, looks at Janice "what’s the plan?"
Janice makes a plate for herself and then continues to read through the notes looking for anything that will give her a hint why the nazi's want this and what does the green dragon stand for
Narrator Time Passes
Janice finished up her food and looks over the last page of notes
Charles wipes his lips with his scarf
Wanda is playing with her letter opener still
Janice "Mel this cant be right, Caesar?" Chuckles, "Great people will think we have fakes."
Charles "Caesar?" thinks, "Didn't he make salad?"
Janice sighs and puts her notes down and looks at Charles, "So what brought you to Greece?"
Charles "Uh confidential"
Janice nods, "And where should you be now?"
Charles "They didn't tell me that either."
Wanda "You just fell out of the sky?"
Janice chuckles, "So you are lost then?"
Charles "Lost... I've never been lost in my life"
Janice "Are there any Kleinman's in your family?"
Melinda picks up a scroll while the others are talking and starts to translate it.
Charles "Except that time I crashed in Greece."
Janice "You mean this last night Charles?"
Wanda "Do you crash allot?"
Charles "Yeah that would be it."
Melinda mumbles something bout the archangel Michael and shakes her head.
Charles "Only when I fly."
Janice "So you are lost, who's your commanding officer?"
Charles "Who?"
Janice ignored that and is still trying to figure out Caesar
Wanda looks over Mel’s shoulder "Oh, pretty scribbles."
Janice "Your commanding officer." she says slower, "The man that gives you orders?"
Charles "Churchill?"
Janice sighs
Melinda just heard what Janice said bout Caesar. "What bout him?"
Janice "Lower than Churchill."
Charles "Yorkshire."
Melinda sits down at the desk and unrolls some more scrolls.
Janice "Well he's Britain’s Prime Minister (er wait not yet he isn’t) but that’s not important right now.’ Thinks, "Okay below him Charles, the guy that sent you in the plane?"
Wanda watches Janice
Janice "Where did you take off from?
Charles "London."
Melinda has her finger on something on a scroll and mumbles "Green Dragon." and continues to translate.
Janice "Mel look for a mention of that carving we saw in the cave."
Janice "London?" that was an awful long flight Charles, where did you refuel?"
Wanda "Oh no not zis dragon again."
Janice snaps her had back, "Mel what did you say?"
Melinda mumbles something again
Charles "Some French place , I cant remember they have awful names you know." sips some tea
Melinda "Green Dragon." and goes bout reading the scroll again.
Janice eyes widen and looks at Wanda and says in French, ,<"English, you know how snobby they can be"> and smiles at Charles
Melinda seems to be talking to herself, "Green Dragon was someone’s son?"
Janice gets up and leaves Wanda and Charles to duke it out, "Where Mel? Show me." walks behind her.
Melinda "Low Main?" and shakes her head "Lao Moo?"
Wanda looks at Janice <"yeah but he sure seems to crash allot...no wonder they aren’t in a hurry to get him back">
Melinda "Lao Ma, I think." is still talking to herself.
Wanda just watches Melinda work
Janice leans over her shoulder looking at the design her finger is on, "Its Lao Ma, that’s a Chinese character."
Charles sips some tea
Janice looks over the scroll, "Mel some of this is in Chinese."
Melinda "Thank ya Janice."
Charles has no idea what was French
Melinda "Yes I can see that."
Janice grabs the scrolls out from under her, and walks around with it. "The Owl and the Dove?"
Wanda looks at Charles "They are going over ze head now."
Janice pivots and shows it to Mel, "Is that Owl?"
Melinda sighs out loud "Janice."
Charles "Really , I say"
Melinda looks at it and nods. "Yes."
Janice pulls it away again, "That's definitely dove."
Melinda leans back in her seat and pushes her glasses up her nose.
Janice "What is an Owl and a dove and a Dragon? I cant read anything but some place names."
Wanda notice they seem very close to each other to just be reading
Janice puts the scrolls back in front of Mel, "What are you waiting for, translate it."
Charles grins at Wanda
Janice walks around checking the gear, "Mel where’s my torchlight?"
Wanda winks
Janice starts making a mess with the neatly organized pile near the door, "We need that light."
Wanda looks at Janice "Was it in your pack?"
Janice "Mel I can't find the damn thing." pulled the canteen out of the pack and threw it over her shoulder
Melinda looks frustrated as she starts to translate again.
Charles gets hit in the head with a canteen, and blinks
Wanda smiles at Charles "So when are you going back to your... how do you say flying things?"
Charles "Unit Miss DePoisson,"
Janice rustles in it and finds it on the bottom. "Thank you Jesus." she puts it right back where she found it and throws everything into the pack in a disorganized mess
Charles or squadron
Wanda snickers at Charles "Oh sorry unit."
Melinda "Ok well it looks like the hawk and the dove were referrin ta Xena and someone called Pao Tsu?"
Wanda "bless you"
Janice stands up and puts the pack upright and walks over to Mel, "And who’s the owl? Gabrielle?"
Melinda "Or is that K'ao Hsin?" looks over to Janice. "Am I sayin that right Janice?"
Charles "Xena?"
Melinda "Dove Janice, not owl."
Janice leans over her shoulder, "Yep that’s it, when did you study Chinese?"
Wanda "Is this Gabrielle even in this scroll?"
Melinda with a wink. "I have many skills also Janice."
Janice smiles "That you do Mel."
Melinda to Wanda, "Yes Wanda I do believe Gabrielle is in this scroll."
Janice reads the scroll over, "Book of power? Book of Force? What is that?"
Wanda "I don’t like the sound of that."
Janice looks over the scroll, "Where is Gabrielle?"
Melinda "Well apparently this 'book' belonged ta Lao Ma." looks back at the scroll, points to a section of the scroll to Janice. "There."
Janice "Why do I have a feeling that this book is bad juju's?" looks down at the scroll, "Which one is her name?"
Wanda hides her grin "is this book worth money? this might be dangerous"
Melinda looks to Janice "Her who?"
Charles "Her who what?"
Janice was thinking about Gabrielle, "Never mind Melinda, its not important."
Melinda looks back down at the scroll, "Says here that that book had some kinda power to be learned from it." goes back to reading.
Janice "Enter your bad juju's"
Wanda "Power?"
Melinda asks "Black powder?"
Janice sighs and looks up at the clock, "We need to get to that cave now if we are gonna go today. And I think we need to someone is after whatever is in that cave and I have a horrible feeling its that book."
Wanda realizes she is outta her league and sits back to listen
Melinda agrees with Janice "Yes I think it is the book that they're after. For it's powers it seems."
Charles "Smithers is still rather quiet"
Janice didn’t hear Melinda she is thinking about the book and a certain Chinese phrase that Mel had yet to translate that caught her eye
Melinda "Janice?"
Janice rubs her eyes, this can't be a genuine scroll, "Yes Mel."
Melinda "I said that the Germans are probably after that book for it's powers. Whatever those powers maybe."
Wanda "Looks real. Its a mess"
Janice "Yes they probably are, I hear of their quests for things called 'items of power' a friend of mine told me about it."
Charles "Power?"
Janice "Mel we need to get that book and destroy it."
Melinda is to herself "Oh.. well now this has to be it. The book holds secrets to Lao Ma's mind pyrotechnics powers."
Janice stares at the phrase in the scrolls and her brow knits
Wanda looks at Jan "I would like to help with ze book. I want to do ze good for once."
Janice sighs, "Yes Wanda I think you better, I hope I’m wrong about this."
Wanda stands up and silently puts her letter opener in her boot and looks for her gun
Melinda notices Janice is again standing besides her. "What's wrong?"
Janice "Melinda, this is going to be very dangerous. I." she stammers, "Just don't get in my way." and walks over to pick up her rucksack
Melinda is taken aback by Janice's statement. "What to ya mean don't get in you're way?"
Wanda loads her gun
Melinda is still sitting in her seat waiting for Janice to answer her.
Janice hands Mel a pack and passes out the others, "Mel unless I'm wrong..."
Melinda takes the pack.
Janice "There will be an army waiting for us in that cave. Mel, ever hear of Gengis Kahn?"
Melinda "Why of course I have. What bout him?"
Janice "I think we are about to meet him face to face." she walks over and grabs the scroll and puts it in a ivory case and then into her pack.
Charles "Gengis Kahn?"
Narrator After talking about Mel’s findings the group goes back to the cave hoping to catch the rest of the daylight there. They arrive in the late afternoon
Janice opens the truck door and gets out her pack
Melinda steps outta the truck?
Janice "Okay you all, you saw how dangerous it is in there, I have a feeling its going to get worse."
Charles hopes out
Melinda "Worse the fallen down a hole to my death?"
Wanda makes sure her gun is with her and nods
Charles helps Wanda out
Wanda smiles at Charles
Melinda "I lost my gun down that hole too."
Wanda "Everyone ready?"
Janice looks over her crew, "Mel straighten that belt" walks to Wanda, "Put both straps around your shoulders" then to Charles, "Try not to trip, fall, scrape, or touch anything."
Charles "For what?"
Melinda looks down at her belt, then raises her eyebrow.
Wanda ties her hair back, gaining a serious expression
Charles "I'll try my best Janice"
Janice turns to the cave and pulls out a cigar and fixes her hat, "Lets do it," she turns back to the group before turning on her flashlight and walking into the cave
Wanda follows Janice back into the cave
Narrator The cave is the same as you left it
Melinda follows Janice back into that god awful cave.
Charles follows after them
Narrator The make-shift bridge seems stable
Melinda walks carefully over the bridge again. "I hope those bats are gone."
Charles "There was bats?"
Janice shines a light down the walls and looks them over again carefully
Narrator The group has used Rods supplies and is now caring packs of ropes, flashlights, and survival gear. You see the same carving again in another part of the cave.
Melinda looking at the same wall Janice is looking at. "What are we lookin for?"
Janice gets out her journal and sketches it
Melinda looks down on the ground and notices drag marks in the sand. "What's that made by?"
Wanda didn’t notice anything
Charles "Some one should of put a plaster on"
Janice looks at the wall and her drawing, "Well Mel, this is a pencil and I rub it along the paper and it makes lines."
Melinda sighs "Janice. I'm talkin bout on the ground."
Janice looks down
Melinda points to the what looks like drag marks.
Janice bends down to it and shines a light on it
Narrator You see two lines drawn into the darkness
Melinda follows the marks with her eyes until she can't see them anymore from the darkness. "Wonder what made those?"
Janice follows the tracks then sees blood.
Melinda looks up to everyone else "Should we go follow them and see where they lead ta?"
Janice Follows it with the light and then diverts it quickly, "Mel look writing on that wall.' and points away from the two long tracks and blood streaks.
Melinda squints to see what wall Janice is Talking bout, then goes up to it.
Janice puts her attention back on the blood trail making sure that Mel cant see it, looks back, "Charles come here for a moment."
Charles goes over to Janice
Janice Whispers to Charles. "Mel will faint if she sees this blood, help me not let her see it." She points to the ground for Charles keeping an eye on Mel
Melinda walks up to the wall and sees that it has the same things on it as the other walls did and turns back tot he others.
Charles slaps his hand over Mel’s eyes
Melinda "What on heavens..."
Janice goes back to investigating the trail and comes across a horrific site
Melinda tries to grab the hand away from her face. "Get off of me."
Janice looks back at the commotion and sighs, "Mel you and Charles stay close to the side of the cave, Wanda you follow them."
Janice gasps at the body with it’s face burned off. The smell is horrible. She clears her throat and turns around, "Okay then, maybe Mel you stay here with Wanda, guard the rears."
Melinda is still trying to get the hand off of her face. "What are ya doin?! Stop that!"
Janice "Chuck you come with me."
Wanda "Hell no I vant to come with you."
Melinda is getting ready to kick whoever is covering her eyes.
Charles goes over to Janice "Yes?"
Wanda walks over to where Janice is to argue her point and stops dead in her tracks
Janice Looks at Mel and Charles, "You can let her go now."
Charles "Oh right" lets Melinda go
Janice turns Wanda around immediately, "Stand over here with Mel."
Melinda to Charles "What on earth did ya do that for?!?"
Wanda "uhhh ok....."
Janice grabs Mel by the arm and leads her away
Melinda looks around to the others, "What is it?"
Wanda pulls Mel away
Melinda "Janice. What's goin on?"
Charles shrugs
Janice "I want you to stick close to Wanda, and I need you to translate this scroll... " Then leans back and whispers to Charles "Get rid of it."
Melinda tries to turn around to see whatever it is that's making them act so strangely.
Wanda "uh ok" and clears her throat
Charles "I say"
Janice doesn’t let her
Melinda looks down at the scroll. "Ya want me to translate this now?? Here??"
Janice clears throat watching Charles, "Er, yeah Mel here and now."
Melinda "Janice want's goin on?"
Janice "We need to find out what all this means, I don’t want to walk in blind" Janice mumbles, "Or like a Princeton fool."
Melinda "Walk inta what?"
Wanda looks at Mel thinking fast "uh tell me more about ziz dragon Mel"
Janice "The Cave Mel, I don’t want to go any deeper."
Melinda takes the scroll but is clearly annoyed.
Charles scuffs dust over some thing, whispers to Janice, "The blood?"
Janice turns around and whispers a little too loudly, "No get rid of it." Not telling exactly what catches her eye in the pocket of the body.
Charles whispered to Janice "How do I get rid of it?"
Janice whispered to Charles "Pick it up and Move it" adds whispering "And search its pockets"
Melinda "What was that Janice?"
Charles drags some thing around a corner whispering to Janice "Really Miss Covington!"
Janice coughs, "I said now get and read it."
Narrator Melinda hears nothing
Melinda looks at Janice again and turns to find a rock to sit on.
Janice turns back to Charles, "No around the corner..." in a horsed whisper
Melinda finds a nice rock, sits down, and unfolds the scroll.
Janice watches Charles check the pockets and shines a light around the ceiling of the cavern and looks for Cyrene... er no for anything out of the ordinary.
Melinda thinks to herself, "Why does she want me to translate this now? Here in a cave of all places."
Janice waits for Charles
Melinda to Janice, "And what am I suppose ta be lookin for now?"
Janice looks back at Mel.. "What?"
Charles shows Janice
Janice looks
Charles drags some thing back towards the pit
Melinda "I said, what am I suppose to be lookin for in this thing?"
Janice eyes widen, "What are you doing?" Charles shows her the ID’s with different names on it, still attached to the body.
Narrator Mel doesn’t see any of this
Melinda is busy translatin the scroll, "Xena with lice?"
Wanda sees Charles and distracts Mel asking something about the lice
Melinda mumbles to herself, "That can't be right." she shakes her head and looks up at Wanda, "Sorry what?"
Janice turns around and blocks Mel's view of ...this
Melinda notices that Wanda isn't lookin at her but at Janice. "Wanda, what did you say?"
Janice gasps and looks at Wanda then Mel then Charles then the ...er...LUMP
Wanda "er...uh...what is this about lice?"
Janice "Melinda start from the top, and read it allowed so we all can hear you..."
Melinda shakes her head again, "I think I translated that part wrong."
Janice turns back to Charles and whispers, "No around the other corner." Picks up an end and helps him drag this thing back
Melinda tilts her head to Janice, "Janice what is wrong with ya? You know I can't just read this like a book. It takes sometime to translate it."
Charles comes back wiping his hands counting aloud, " 1. 2. 3. 4,5,6,7,8,9,10" *thud*
Janice stretches out her back and fans herself with her hat, and looks at Wanda, "All clear ....."
Melinda stops her translating. Melinda hears a thudding sound, "What was that?"
Janice looks at Mel, "Rock fell."
Charles "Just the dead body."
Janice slaps her hand to her face.
Melinda stands up, "Since when do rocks 'thud'?"
Wanda rolls her eyes
Melinda "A what?!?!"
Janice "Okay Mel enough translating we got a cave to explore." she packs up Mel quickly and rushes her around the corner
Charles "A what what?"
Janice "Nothing Mel, it was a Dead bat."
Charles "What’s a dead bat?"
Melinda "What on Samhill is wrong with y'all? You're actin like you've seen a dead body or somethin."
Wanda "who us...nagh...."
Janice "Charcoal." notes
Charles "Not since that time , I pushed ..."expects some one to kick him
Janice "Shush!"
Charles "Why?"
Janice pushes Mel around the corner then stops everyone
Melinda brows knit together
Wanda brushes some dust over something
Janice "Okay whatever it was it was around here somewhere, "Don’t anyone touch anything." looks at Mel then Charles, "Anything!"
Charles follows every one
Melinda "Why... now... Now you're rushin me. What has gotten inta ya?!?"
Janice starts to creep around the corner
Wanda follows Jan gun in hand
Melinda still think everyone has gone nuts, but follows behind them.
Narrator you all hear a pong noise
Janice steps and freezes and feels a pain graze your shoulder...it was an arrow from a hole in the wall.
Charles listens
Janice tries to move "Goddamnit."
Melinda wonders where that sound is coming from.
Janice clasps her left shoulder
Wanda "what was that"
Janice looks at her hand and put it back on her shoulder.
Narrator you all see and arrow now stuck to the wall
Melinda sees Janice holding her shoulder, "What's wrong?"
Wanda "you ok?"
Melinda walks up from behind Janice.
Janice Looks up at Mel, "I’m Fine, barely scratched"
Melinda finally sees the arrow, "Oh my goodness, Janice!"
Janice starts to step carefully around the place
Narrator You all can see in the dark some blood on Janice’s shoulder
Charles blinks "I say!"
Melinda "Janice ya just can't walk around with that thing stickin outta your shoulder like that. We have to get it out or somethin."
Janice looks back, "Mel step where I step, If I die then don’t step there."
Melinda mouths just falls open.
Janice is treading carefully looking at the walls and ceiling too
Melinda glances down at the floor and is too scared to move now.
Charles looks at torch on the wall
Janice stops and looks back at Charles, "Don’t touch that."
Charles "What?"
Janice "Don’t anyone touch anything and step where I step, if we form a single line then maybe we all wont get it at the same time."
Wanda stands behind Janice
Narrator They hear what sounds like a mans laughter
Melinda looks down and around her feet. Then over to where the others are walking and carefully tries to step over there.
Janice stops cold and grabs her gun with her bloody hand
Wanda "What ze hell is that?!"
Janice "Shush!" it is a distance away, it sounds eerily familiar
Wanda aims her gun into the darkness
Melinda is trying to hear where it's coming from.
Janice lowers her gun a bit and shines the light in a direction, following the wall with the light and finding the same carving of the dragon, only in Jade.
Melinda has no idea where the laughter is coming from.
Janice walks up to the wall and shines a light on it
Wanda looks in the direction of Janice’s light
Janice "Mel come here and look at this beauty."
Wanda carefully follows too
Janice points to the Jade carving embedded into the wall.
Melinda is more concerned bout where she's stepping then anything, finally getting to the where the others are.
Charles carefully follows to
Janice "What do you make of that Mel?"
Wanda reaches up to touch it and changes her mind
Melinda as she runs her hands over the jade. "Oh well now lookie there."
Narrator There is no dust on the jade
Janice raises her brow, "Rich tastes Miss Pappas?"
Melinda "That's beautiful, isn't it Janice?"
Janice "Very."
Charles "Well I Don’t like to gloat."
Janice "Not you the stone Charles, look."
Narrator They here the same voice
Melinda "What is it doin in the wall?"
Charles squints at the stones
Janice "Its a sign Mel, a do not enter sign."
Charles "Were?"
Janice looks back at the voice and shines the light again to it
Melinda is still runnin her hands over. "Do not enter what? There's no door here?"
Wanda "What do we do?"
Narrator The corridor narrows
Janice points to the cavern with her gun, "I would think that is your door Mel." and bends down and pulls out her little medical kit and takes off her jacket and inspects her shoulder "First before I die I want to fix this up. Wouldn’t want to bleed on our host."
Melinda "Janice, don't ya think this would make a good addition to your collection? I mean maybe it has somethin to do with Xena and Gabrielle."
Janice "Well it was a white shirt."
Melinda doesn't wait for Janice to answer her and she tries to pull on it to get it loose.
Janice looks up at Mel trying to stop her bleeding, "Maybe on the way back, we have bigger fish to fry than a knickknack."
Janice stands up and grabs Mel's wrist with her bloody hand, "Mel no don’t!" hearing a rumble...and sees holes at shoulder level open
Janice is swish cheese as she sees flames burst from the walls. And was unable to dodge them as they hit her back pushing when she pushed Mel out of the way.
Charles looks up at Melinda and Janice and Wanda as he ducks
Narrator she ducks singeing her hair
Melinda Sees the flame shootin towards her and tries to grab Janice as she ducks down.
Narrator while the others narrowly escape poor Janice wasn’t that lucky. She saw the flames coming and moved but they struck her back as she dived to the floor
Janice "ARGH!" stops, drops, and rolls. Janice is some pain here
Melinda runs over towards Janice. "Oh my god!"
Narrator Mel was able to reach Janice diving on top of her, with Janice’s help they extinguishes the flames. Janice head hits the ground with a silent thud. Because of Mel’s quick thinking Janice’s shirt has burned almost off but her skin has about a first degree burn, flash burns across her back.
Melinda mumbles as she sits in the corner "Well it didn't look suspicious."
Wanda pulls her canteen out, she wets some cloth and places it gently on Janice’s back "Hey wake up."
Melinda makes sure that all the flames are out. Holding Janice's face in her hands "Janice?"
Wanda grabs some gauze and looks at Janice’s shoulder. Looks up at Mel "Don’t worry it looks worse than it is... she will just be cranky for a while, no?"
Melinda tries to help Wanda stop the bleedin of Janice's shoulder. "Put pressure on it to make it stop."
Janice stirs from the pain of the pressure
Wanda the wound on her shoulder looks like the bleeding is slowing down. "I think it was just ze flesh wound."
Janice is waking but is groggy
Wanda continues to tend to the shoulder while Mel talks to Jan
Melinda "Janice?"
Janice "Mel?" whisper
Wanda uses the first aid kit to dress the wound
Melinda looks like she's bout to cry but holds it in. "Janice it's gonna be ok. We're gonna get you all patched up here."
Janice "What happened?" whisper
Melinda frowns, "Ya got hit by a burst of fire."
Janice "How?" whisper
Melinda "You're gonna be ok." Pauses, "Hmmmm, well...." looks away. "It was my fault, I think. I pushed the jade on the wall." Pauses, chokes back a tear. "I didn't think anythin of it. I'm sorry."
Janice chokes and giggles and whispers, "Getting me back for hitting your nose?"
Wanda hands Janice some water
Melinda giggles to herself "Stop that and ya just try to relax. We'll just ya outta here soon, I promise."
Melinda wonders for moment where Charles is. Melinda to Wanda "Almost done there? Then we have ta turn her over to check her back."
Janice opens her eyes wide and sits up, "Mel duck!" and pushes her over.
Melinda falls flat on her back. "Wha...."
Janice collapses next to Mel, "Fire..."
Wanda is a bit shaken
Janice is breathing hard and in a fetal position her forehead on the stone floor, "Mel are you okay?"
Wanda grabs the canteen again to look at the burn
Melinda looks around then down at Janice who passes out cold. "Fire?"
